Color change indicate speed?

I tested a pill with marquis test. Color in seconds passed through brown to purple and less than 20 seconds to black. Just so I'm clear, if there were speed in it you'd get this reaction right? The brown indicates speed, but the mdma takes to color to black covering the brown, right?
