Cold Water extraction - quick question

Hi

A few days ago I did a cold water extraction and followed the instructions and ended up with a semi cloudy liquid. I left the liquid over night in the fridge, when I went back to it the next morning the water was almost clear but there was a white layer about a 2 milimeters thick that had setteled at the bottom of the glass. My question is, is this white layer the codeine I wanted to extract falling to the bottom because its heavier than the water or is that still some of the parcetamol?

The reason I ask is because i drank the liquid but did not drink the white layer of mushy powder that settled at the bottom and i didn't really get anything from the liquid.

Any advise would be great.

What sank to the bottom is usually the APAP however you can re filter it because there's still opiate in there.... Also you might have let it sit too long. When I used to do CWE's I never let them sit over night.. just my final product if I had any left which was a rare thing.
 
It shouldn't be the codeine, codeine is fully water soluble. It will be paracetamol, and fillers/binders. What did you use as a filter?

As to not feeling anything from it - not sure why that would be. Even if you didn't chop your pills up much, there shouldn't be any codeine sat at the bottom after a full night, it would all dissolve.. what dose of codeine did you go for?

leaving a codeine cwe overnight in the fridge isn't going to make it become inactive, done it many times myself. no effects are likely related to dosage.

I never said it would make it "inactive" I said it might need to be refiltered because it might have sank to the bottom, I was high and just worded it badly. I have fucked up alot of CWEs.. But I agree that it most likely has to do with doseage. I dont mess with pills that have APAP in them anymore but if I did I would be completely annoyed because my last CWE was such an epic failure... It was Vicodin 5/500's and whatever happened just made me puke and I had a high tolerance but I think I just fucked it up all together and there was too much APAP in my final solution.
 
i never interpreted your post as making it inactive, was just stating it to stop any myth that may have been the case. i understood what you meant.
 
Sounds like the partcetamol just sank to the bottom like the above poster's said. If you didn't injest it then it's fine. When i CWE Tylenol 1's I just crush them (for like 20 minutes) in a small dipping sauce cup and then fill enough cold water to cover the powder completely and then i would stir for a long time and then filter it and good to go.. suck's t1's have caffeine though... I get like 750mg of caffeine which is 3 extra large coffee's in one sip (but two big gulps) along with the codeine.. The taste is so bad and when it hits my stomach i keep burping and feel like im gonna puke but i can usually keep it down.. I find eating pickles right after a cwe helps the taste induced nausea.
 
^ be careful having too much caffeine, not only can it feel unpleasant but it can be very irritating to the stomach, even to the point of causing gastric bleeding in very high doses.. it's always best to use pills containing only codeine and APAP (and inactive fillers/binders) if at all possible.

Oh okay... sometimes when I am fucked up I word shit completely wrong but it seems to make sense to me at the time. lol I am bad for that... Kind of like those genius ideas that pop up after smoking a bunch of KB..
