Wow, man that's all I can say...wow.
That's one hell of a rapid detox.
From the cases I've seen (and experienced), Hydro Chronic is pretty much right (although, as always, everyone's a different case). As I started, usually with a dose like that, going straight to cold turkey is tantamount to torture.
Most patients I've seen don't get hit super hard until about day 7 or 8. You must be a very strong person. Then to be fully in the clear would usually take about a month/month & a half...and then you're just beginning to feel semi-ok.
Of course, IMHO, once seriously addicted to pure opiate/oid agonists, the phychological symptoms (PAWS) never really go away...they just get a little easier to bear (very, very slowly). In all reality you might not feel truly better for the good course of half a year or so (as always: YMMV).
I wish I had more time to talk with y'all, because I have soo much more to share, but I'm being paged by the ER (what's new).
But there is a lot of good advice in the replies that I've read so far...at least you had some benzos (and I'd have to second the clonidine and Soma).
I think the Suboxone REALLY saved your ass, though.
And, ahh yes Rachamim (listen to this man, as he is a wise sage of the "Yin/Yang" that is the natural human love that we have evolved for endorphins/opiates/oids)...It sounds like you might be headed to Singapore, Rachamim...
Well, I've gotta fly but I'll be back (shoot me a PM Rachamim, I might have some ideas for you- and of course anyone else that would like to discuss this topic- feel free to shoot me a PM as well.
Bye4now...be back soon...keep up the good work...it can only get better from here.
p.s. And y'all better listen to Sonic...he didn't become a mod of OD for nothing...plus he let you off quite easy

Sonic has done a LOT of hard work helping to bring OD back into line, and he should be highly commended for it (tips hat to Sonic)...back to the grind I go...
