Are there 'better' ways to snort, or is 'a snort a snort'.....?
also, is there an average length/size to lines, or is it just a free for all....
and do ya have a prefernce in your snorting tool (bank note, little plastic straw.....etc)? and is the finer the powder the higher u get....

which ever works for you, short, long, quick, slow...to each is own!!!
and about the powder being finer...no it has no baring on how high you will get.
straw....don't use some nasty bill that you have no idea where it is or who has touched it....

1) Snort however you are comfortable. Some like to alternate nostrils, some like to use the sameone. I was told that it's best to alernate to spread it out throught the sinus cavity but I think it all goes to the same place anyhow. Although, I could be wrong on that last point.
2) Snort as big a line as you need to feel like you want. Smart small, work up.
3) Use a straw. Money is NASTY.
4) Finer is always better. Easier on the sinuses. Grind it to a powder.

my friends and i have found on bigger lines it helps to split between the two nostrils.. seems to hit harder faster and doesnt clump up as easily.. therefore staying in a little longer before you have to get rid of it (sucks having a plugged up nose all night)
i dunno if thats just me, or if it actaully does spread around the sinus cavity better, but you may want to try it
 
You're asking how to snort? You just crush it as fineas you can get it, find or fabricate a tube of some sort, then inhale .. as for the size of the line - depends on the drug .. a line of heroin is obviously going to be smaller then a line of coke ..
If you live in a state thats "down" with "ravers" and "neo-hippies" you can go to head shops and get "snuff kits" .. they have little glass tubes, a case wit hetched grooves (for consistant lines each time), all in a neat little case with clips for your baggies, a special holder for a razor, etc...

PhreeX- Do you know if NY is a state where you can get a snuff kit? or if maybe just NYC is?

You definately want to grind it up into as fine a powder as you can get it. Clumpier coke is more likely to stick to the sides of your nostrils, and then the only way to get it back is to do a snot nummy....
To overcome coke that just doesn't want to grind into a fine powder, or is a little bit sticky and gets stuck to anything that touches it, just do this; Get a spoon and a short plastic straw. Scrape a lines worth of coke onto the spoon, and add a few drops of warm water to the spoon (If you don't have a medicine dropper, just fill a cup with warm water, dip the straw in the water, and then remove it with your finger over the top end. Then remove your finger and the water will fall into the spoon). Then snort away! I feel like this method is the best because you dont get any buildup in your nose, its a lot easier on your sinuses, and everything that gets into your nose is dissolved.
 
When debating whether to alternate nostrils or not, a friend of mine said that he always stuck to the "one side only rule," that way he still had a sense of smell in case of fire/etc. Seemed to make sense to me.
