Coke-possible social drug?

I've done coke a few times, never too much. Didn't want to get addicted or anything like that. But James and I were hanging at a friends and we had a little coke party, went through about 1/4 of an ounce of coke between 5 peeps in about 3 hours. Coke was mainly just a rush for my previously. But this time I noticed that all of us were more vocal and friendly towards each other after the first few massive lines. I personally was feeling very warm and kinda euphuric. After doing the rest we were all this way. I know most movies aren't accurate but I noticed (damn my memory) the two chicks (rollergirl and the other one) in Boogie Nights being kinda emotional and shit after doing so much coke. Anyone else get any kind of happy feelings from coke? The coke didn't burn too bad and no drip at all hardly. It tasted pretty nasty and good.

Coke has always been primarily a social drug...
It's generally not social if you IV it, due to all the constant preparation work involved, but most people snort coke, which made it the social/casual drug of choice for the general public before Ecstasy came around...

I find coke very social... and actually I don't really like doing coke if i'm going to be alone. I remember the first time I tried it and I was explaining it to a friend, I said that I felt sort of like I was rolling, but more like I was just at peace with everything.
If coke lasted twice as long, it'd be great. I find that sometimes it sucks, because I notice that instead of having a good time, i'm constantly cutting up another line...

Coke is definitely a social drug. I find it to be more social than meth because sometimes after I smoke it I play with the pipe for hours.(im a crackhead) And some of the people I have done meth with are the typical stereotype of a tweaker, just looking for a place to get high and whatnot.
Coke brings out a nice sociability in me and find conversations to flow more smoothly than normal. Meth does that too, but sometimes people just don't shut the hell up and jabber away their life story.

I think that's a good distinction between meth and coke....if you overdo the meth, it can make you TOO talkative, for sure.

yeah, i agree with TDK2FE - it gives you a great feeling, you can talk about things and you are more open than you would regularly be, but yo alway find yourself either asking for another line or breaking it up yourself. it is, at its least, a funny drug - i would rather be doing when i go out and am ready to have some fun than just sitting around. if you are just sitting around it becomes like "hey, i'll meet you in the bathroom in a a couple minutes."

Cocaine is more of a "social drug" only in the sense that you have to keep doing coke... so yeah, there is that sense of community - until the coke is gone!
