Coke Melting?

Had some coke this evening--all of my windows were open in my house (kind of humid out)...when we were chopping/forming lines--it started to melt. Has anyone heard of this--think it was because of the humidity?

heard of this happening to someone else i know. coke is water soluble, but if the cut is pretty harsh (or its not coke), it can turn into this pasty goo. i'd say on a scale of 1 to 10, your coke was probably a 1 or 2 if it turned to goo.

Yup it's very normal. The humidity caused a reaction with the chemicals in your blow causing it to get sticky & begin to melt. When this happens to me I put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes. Works sometime but not all the time...

no this was good coke, a friend that was over who does coke regularly said is was some of the best he has had in this area...

cocaine readily absorbs moisture from the air. it's not 'chemicals' in the blow, it's the cocaine.

you can also take the goo, and spread it evenlly on a plate....turn you stove burner on and then hold the plate over the burner for about 5 seconds..... WALLLLAAAAAAAA
scrap the plate re-chop it and you are ready to go.
Now rememeber i did not say cook it. Rather you are just drying.
Good as new..... i personnally have not tried the freezer trick, mainlly because to me you are just freezing the moisture to then come right back again.

Yea, I had an 8ball of good coke at an outdoor concert one time, kept it in my pocket. Half of it turned into a nasty paste. I was pretty pissed off nonetheless.

just dry it with a little gentle heat as suggested....
but yeah, coke is notorious for readily absorbing moisture from the air.
keep it in an airtight baggie and dont play around with it too long while cutting out lines...
