I have a few questions concerning coke. first off, a friend of mine told me that i could test purity by putting some in a vial of clorox and measuring the time it takes the solution to turn blue and noting how dark the blue is. i need to know how much coke/clorox to use and how long/how blue "crappy," "decent," and "hot" coke would show. Second i've heard a lot about bases/cures lately. Anyone want to shed more light on how to tell whats-what and what that means? Finally, i'd like to know the best way to pursue a ghetto coke deal. I'm from a dinky town five hours away from the nearest metro and i want to make the score worth the drive (>.5oz). Advice?

The Clorox Test is BUNK!!!
It was disproven by PharmChem in 1981
Just don't do it.
The best and quickest way to test purity is melting point analysis (if you have device to do that with).

As for bases/cures, i'm guessing that is relating to conversion of coke to crack...
Possibly compairing different bases for making crack.

for sure.
you think he should use a melting point capillary or the fisher-johns apparatus?=P
actually, it would work, although the melting point will be decreased if it's cut *at all*. you'd need to know what it was cut with, unfortunately, but if you did, you could calculate the purity =P
and find the eutectic point!

Do you really want to buy half an oz of some ghetto thug you've never met? Shit that would cost about £600 over here in the UK. Do you really think they aren't just gonna shoot you.
Don't know much about the tests but I know you can buy testing kits in head shops, the one near me sells one called dope tester but I don't know weather it just tells you if there is coke present or weather it can tell purity.
