coke and prescription allergy/asthma meds?

before i get jumped, i did a search for this topic in the archives, but the only reference to allergy meds i could see was about benadry.
so i pose it now:
does anyone know how cocaine works in conjunction with allergy meds (allegra and flonase specifically) or asthma meds (singulair in particular) to calm your system after potent abuse? just can't tell if i'm feeling shitty b/c of the pollen count or b/c i'm doing my coke wrong. it's good, no question about it, but i've had a couple of hairy experiences of late involving late nights and hallucinations on dosages of less that .25/g of coke.

there are no contradictions between these meds and coke. allegra is an antihistamine, singular is a histamine blocker, and flonase is a corticosteroid. none of these should have any adverse affects when mixed with the coke, so it has to either be the pollen count, or something else.

does the antihistamine effect of the allegra or the histamine blocker in singulair help to curb some of the side effects of coke?

I would NOT combine cocaine and a corticosteroid...coke is quite harsh on the immune system as are corticosteroids...also the incidence of heart palpitations, etc is increased. A bad combo if you ask me...

Flonase is a corticosteroid nose spray (I used to use it for allergies). Unless you are using a bottle a day, very little of the steroid is absorbed systemically, so no serious immune system or hormonal effects will occur. However, it probably doesn't help with the damage that coke causes to the nose. Flonase makes you more likely to develop nasal polyps and can worsen sinus bleeding and bruising.

listen, i am speaking from personal experience here. i have been an asthmatic my whole life. like abra said, it is a NASAL spray, not a pill you pop. very very little of the drug actually makes it into your system. as far as bleeding & bruising from the steroid, that only happens with prolonged and extreme use. that is why you are only supposed to use it once a day.
i 110% garauntee this to be safe.
and as far as the antihistamines blocking the action of the coke, nope they have no interaction. coke works on the dopamine system, the anthistamines, as you already know, work on the histamine receptors in your body.

I think what you want to know is if these allergy meds will help you after you do some coke & get all congested to the point where it feels like your nose is going to fall off. I use to try this when I started snorting blow with no luck. There is no real cure to how you feel after you do coke & your nasal cavity hurts. My suggestion Is you go buy some Afrin nasal mist. This should help you out a little...

i know this may sound odd, but i have tried to avoid afrin because it has Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride. i have no idea how two hydrochlorides would work together to clear up the blockage created. i have used a saline/aloe solution bought at a natural foods store, but that seems to only work very temporarily.
i have found relief from benadryl, but mostly i find myself simply using smaller dosages of coke because it seems to just block my nasal passages faster when i do more than .25/g in a night.
i also see that using my script meds has no impact on any of the side effects. what i hoped to do by using prescription allergy/asthma meds was to curb the longer term side effects, but i suppose its just a situation of "if you play, you pay".
besides the obvious (xanax, vicodin), are there any other low-impact allergy or asthma meds that people have used here which can help to curb the after effects?

I wouldn't use Afrin because it has an almost guaranteed after effect of rebound congestion (your nose is unclogged, and then it becomes more clogged than it was to begin with when you stop using it). Saline spray is about the best you can do. You can also use an oral decongestant like Sudafed if you aren't still using the coke; otherwise your blood pressure will rise to serious levels.
I would reccomend against benadryl or any antihistamines because they tend to dry out the nasal mucosa. It's been a while since I snorted coke but I remember that it dries my nose out and makes it more congested. The only answer is a decongestant.
