I don't think it's really that big of a deal. Back in my party days I did plenty of coke and MDMA in the same night and I always had a great time. The coke didn't seem to ruin the MDMA experience or vice-versa. It probably isn't the ideal combination, but I've done it plenty of times and always had a good time. I usually mixed lots of drugs when I was partying. I typically only did coke to stay alert and awake, or to balance out the effects of drinking or ketamine. I don't see a line of cocaine as very much different from drinking a strong cup of coffee
