Coke and Dopamine Replenishment?

I have searched and frpm what I have found out coke works on Dopamine in your brain making you feel good. My question is do you have to have all of the wait time in between coke to replinish Dopamine like you have to have the wait time in between E drops to replenishment seratonin. My guess is no because people do coke so much nore frequently by wanted to get your opinion..thanks
 
With all drugs, it's best to wait a few days (or more) before getting high again, for two reasons -- 1)it gives your body time to recover and replenish any necessary neurotransmitters and 2)it helps keep tolerance at bay.
Now, MDMA is special becuase it takes a quite a while (approx. 2 weeks) for your serotonin system to return to normal. The dopamine system, on the other hand, is quite sturdy and recovers much more quickly, usually within days. Thus, you don't have to wait as long before doing dopaminergic drugs (like coke, meth). A few days should be plenty.
 
Or you can try some L-Tyrosine. It is to dopamine what 5htp is to seratonin. Works well for me as a postload (just take one a day for a couple of days after you've been on the drugs)

L-tyrosine is not nearly as effective in replenishing dopamine as 5-htp is in replenishing serotonin...I have experimented with pre and postloading with l-tyrosine and found that it does not do much. As I stated in my previous post, your body makes dopamine quickly just fine on its own so there is little need for supplementation...

Would you like to back this up with some references.

The reason that L-tyrosine is not as effective as 5-HTP is that under normal conditions tyrosine hydroxylase is maximally active, which implies that the rate of synthesis of the catecholamines is not in any way dependent on the dietary precursor tyrosine. Unlike tyrosine hydroxylase, tryptophan hydroxylase is not usually saturated by its substrate.
 
Regarding meth + the dopamine system:

Regarding cocaine + the dopamine system:
Administration of cocaine (0.5, 2 and 5 mg/kg) resulted in dose-dependent elevation of dopamine level in the striatal extracellular fluid (ECF) at 0.5 h after injection, and returned to the baseline level within 1.5 h post-injection. At 0.5 post-injection, cocaine reduced dopamine synthesis rate and DAT availability in a dose-dependent manner. The reduction of DAT availability by cocaine (2 mg/kg) returned to baseline level at 3 h post-injection and thereafter. Interestingly, dopamine synthesis rate was significantly higher at 3 h than baseline level and returned to baseline level 5.5 h post-injection.

Fairnymph, due to lack of time I skimmed thru the abstracts of both articles. It seems that both studies looked just for changes in dopaminergic system. They doesn't compare it with serotonergic system, which would tell the difference in the rate of replenishment between these monoaminergic systems.
