coke and darvocet

i did a search for this and came up empty handed. i was given some red darvocets and i wanted to know if they would be ok to take to mellow out the edge of coke. anyone have any experience? thanks.

The bit about the seizures is true, however, a few darvocets on the comedown of a coke high is unlikely to pose much of a risk. Most cases of seizures resulting from propoxyphene were either in cases of addiction/habitual use or overdoses.

thanks for the info. this appears to be a 100mg. if i were to take it what would be the recommended dosage? i had used histinex syrup to come down over the last week, i dont know if the hydrocodone would make a difference, but im not currently taking it. i have ingested about .5g this evening.

I'd probably take at least 2 and up to 4 100 mg pills....darvocet is fairly weak as far as opioids go.

I have found that it can also be somewhat dysphoric. Seems like that only happens with habitual use, though.

Also, remember that the coke will raise your threshold dose of the opiate, thus making it harder to get high with it. Darvocet is nasty stuff on the stomach for most people, so I'd stick to the smallest recreational dose possible to get the most out of it -- do it when you're not doing coke.
