alright, I starting using coke about two weeks ago and about a week and a half ago I went on somewhat of a small binge (going through about 1.2 to 1.5 grams a day) for 4 straight days. I stopped because I got a cold and couldn't get anything through my nostrils because they were so clogged with congestion. but after I stopped I noticed that both my bottom gums and the insides of my nostrils were burning pretty bad. I took a closer look yesterday and noticed that I had sores on the insides of my nostrils and my bottom gums were extremely red and had a couple small white dots on them. are these cold sores or is it more serious than that. btw, I rub the coke on my gums after doing lines because I like the numb feeling.

My guess is that your coke was cut with some nasty shit. Either that or your just sensitive to coke. Either way, I really wouldn't continue to use or buy anymore of that coke. Get some from a different dealer or something. And if it happens again, I guess you're just not meant to do the coke. Try meth instead.

Doesn't sound like cold sores to me. Cold sores are blisters. This sound smore like Chancre sores. If I binge on coke I sometimes develope sores like this just from chewing the insides of my mouth with the teeth grind. Sounds like you have 1) over done it (duh) 2) are sensitive to either coke, or something it's cut with.
If you are susceptible to cold sores, binging on drugs *can* lower your immune system enough to cause an outbreak (especially true with H). This does not sound like what you are experiencing. Do you have any history of cold sores?

^ Yes cold sores are oral herpes. Of course you can get canker sores which look exactly the same but are caused by irritation I believe. The only way to really tell the difference is to culture a sample for the herpes virus. In either case don't freak out because you have an 'STD' I have seen estimates that up to 80% of american adults are infected with oral herpes (it is of course dormant in many of them).
Still while oral herpes is generally caused by a differnt strain of virus than genital herpes (oral is usually type 2 I believe genital herpes type 1) it is possible to infect someones genitals with your oral variety so try and avoid oral sex (or even slicking your hand for manual sex) while you have visibile cold sores (and especially right after they pop). Also any mouth/eyeball/eyelid contact. Genital herpes is much more discomforting and can be medically serious especially for women.
Still it is common and most people have no idea they have it so don't freak...chances of creating a medically sifnificant condition in a non-immunodeficent person is pretty damn low. I just want to emphasize the don't freak aspect as many people do so about anything involving an 'STD'
I disagree with the above two posters about this indicating a cut or anything similar. While certainly this could be a bad reaction to some cut any irritation of this area could cause the problem. Also herpes outbreaks are well documented to be caused weakened immune systems and even stress.
In short not only is your immune system taking a hit from all that coke use, even uncut coke will probably function as an irritant not to mention and lip bitting teeth grinding etc.. potentially caused by coke. Changing coke suppliers is probably not going to fix the problem.
You could try not rubbing it on your gums but it is quite possible that just using this much coke is causing the problem.

where they white dots or like clear water bubbles? kinda like a pimple? cold soes are a form of herpes. theres a and b. i get cold sores to. i have my whole life. since i was a baby.
stres brings them out. i dont think yours are cold sores. cold sores at first, look like little clear fluid bubbles. there will be like 4 of these side by side. then, the second stage is they pop and scab. then they heal. if they are cold sores valtrex will work. i have had to take this medication for 20 years.

weakened immune system could possibly lead to herpes outbreaks if you have the virus- well documented with Heroin- unsure with coke. However, chancre (correct spelling as far as I know) sores are generally due to irritation usually from bittin your lips etc. though I guess they can be caused by reduced immune system as well. I am just unsure of whether coke leads to such immune depression. Heroin certainly does.
To quale- I only listed a funky cut as 1 possibility. I think it's because he's chewing on is lips while getting the big "grind"

I also find that coke leaves my face/mouth pretty dehydrated (mainly when combined w/ lots of alcohol). I've gotten sores on the corners of my mouth due to this. Drink water if you're going to be drinking alcohol, and don't abuse your immune system too much. :)
