Hey,
After a daily, very long term use of coke, I quit.
I have 3 weeks from when I did not touched coke . I slept 2 weeks and I was in a zombie state, like a coma, dont remember if was a day or 2 weeks. I have one week from when I started to be awake few hours per day or more. I started to return to my daily activities, but the problem is that I feel very apathic, letargic and if I stay in chair too much I sleep instantly. My sleep is very deep in hardly someone can wake me up. Anyone goes trough this and can tell me if I will ever be normal ?
What other symptoms I should expect?
(i have headaches, teethache but not all time goes and come). Any reply will be appreciated
thanx

This post would probably do better in Medical Q+A. Of course your going to be more lethargic after quitting a simulant. You might want to go see a doctor and get a SNRI or a SSRI to help try to lift your mood. The fact that you are falling asleep at random (narcolepcy) is very strange, and thats why I think maybe Medical Q+A would do better. But, still, you should head to the doctor regardless and get some anti-depressants.

I'm not really qualified to answer this question. But I have had a habit of coke in the past. Almost everyday for about 4 years. Now I'm down to about once a month. Which is more then enough for me nowadays!
My advice would be to go see a doctor. Not your normal family doctor that you go to for a cold or something, but maybe a docter in the next town over, just for privacy reasons. But most doctors praise the quitting of an addiction, and should be very helpful if you explain your troubles.
The reason I would advise a different dotor is just the fact that when you walk into your doctors office with a sore throat or with your kids or something, you don't want the receptionist, being like - "Oh here comes that cokehead!"
Hope this info was a bit helpful but - I would ask this same question in the Medical forum though . GOOD LUCK! . . . PEACE!!!
