Coedine refining from prescrip meds?

I have a reasonable amount of panadeine forte (500mg paracetamol [generic is: acetaminophen] and 30mg of codeine) and i want to get rid of as much of the paracetamol as possible, but i don't know if the cold water extraction method works on paracetamol, i know it works on asprin... i don't want to fuck my liver up with excessive exposure to the paracetamol... can anyone give me some info?

There's a high enough codeine:APAP ratio that you can get good effects from the codeine without taking a dangerous dose of APAP.

thanx man... i'm still looking at trying to refine it mainly cuz i'll probably be using the codeine after a night out and my liver will have taken a pounding anyway...

how much is a dangerous dose of paracetamol? I'd like to know if the extraction by cold water is absolutely necessary.

Paracetamol==APAP. Stay under 6g and you should be fine.
