70mg Phenylephrine yay or nay? as an unfortunate soluble by product of cwe extraction of codral pills
I'm afraid the answer is nay.. standard dose is 10mg, so you would be taking 7 x the standard dose. Phenylephrine is in a class of drugs that cause hypertension (raised blood pressure), tachycardia (raised heart rate) and vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels causing reduced blood flow especially to your hands and feet) along with a wide range of other side effects documented here - and these are possible side effects for a standard 10mg dose, so the chances if yoiu getting them with a 70mg dose will be a lot higher. Effects of overdose are mentioned here.
You really need pills containing only APAP/paracetamol and your opiate of choice for a safe CWE.. even if you think the extra ingredient is harmless, it may not be in high doses.
