Ok, I have a couple questions.
I have a shit ton of codeine. I just found it in my prescription drugs cabinant.
how much should i drink to get recreational effects?
It says Phenergan/Codeine, Is it safe to drink this Phenergan stuff?
oh yea, and its expired? it expired in Janurary of 09 is this safe?

It's probably still good if its been stored properly. The phen is pretty sedating to most people so take it easy with it and start with low doses to see you feel. Too much and you are going to be out...

Ignore the sell-by-date on meds packaging, its bollox .the med will usually ok for month...pills in blister packs last years. Its this bollox law that says anything sold for human consumption must have it.

As for what you've got, codeine/promethazine syrup, good stuff. See what the ratio for the 2 are....I'm guessing 15mg per 5ml dose. The promethazine, nice sedating potentiate for the codeine, ie the amounts will just make make you a little sedated.

A 200ml bottle of codeine usually contains about 600mg (15mg per 5ml). If you're not used to codeine, go for about a third of the bottle & see how it goes...

it should be OK to consume, but you have to beware of the ratio codeine/promethazine... i wouldn't take more than 100mg promethazine... or more than 600mg codeine

If you don't have any tolerance I wouldn't take more than 300mg codeine, max. That would probably be overkill as it is. My first time I did 120mg and I got a pretty nice nod; however, some people say they didn't feel anything when taking below 250mg the first few times they tried it.
