Codeine + xanax

Hey

Getting some 2mg xanax today and was wondering if it'd be alright to mix with about 190mg of codeine?

I had about 500ish yesterday.. so my tolerance will be up. Its only a once a week thing with me to keep tolerance at a low level!

Fairly big guy... had experience with opies and benzos before. I had a nice mix of diazapam and codeine once and it was very nice.. i actually nodded and felt amazing.

So... would that be alright?

Im mixing probably 1mg of xanax 0 tolerance and 150-190 mg of codeine ..
 
Not quite the same but 20mg diazepam followed 30mins later by 250mg of codeine on an empty stomach is really enjoyable, then obviously a bowl or 2 of some good quality marijuana to help nod out for a bit :).

190mg of codiene is a pretty small dose if you're a seasoned user and have a tolerance, particularly if you had some yesterday. Your biggest danger will be falling asleep completely which kind of defeats the purpose of taking an opiate recreationally (and possible respiratory depression) but at those doses you should be fine.

I am a seasoned user.. i was hardcore twice a day for a while. But its pointless and silly ...in the end your just feeding an addiction and not really getting that high.

But yeh.. awsome. Well in a couple of hours i should be feeling pretty fucking great!!

^^ True that, I recently took a 2 week break and caught a mad nod for the first time in ages when I dosed again.

I take my benzos first, usually 30 mins beforehand, but I'd probably stick to .5 or maybe 1mg xanax depending on your tolerance, otherwise it's just going to overpower the codeine, esp with that low dose of codeine.
 
Likewise I would suggest that you start with only 1mg of xanax, unless you are quite tolerant. I would also increase your codeine dose, because benzo's can overpower codeine and if you dosed 500mg last night then 190mg wont do fuck all tonight, you would be aswell just eating the brick and having a mix instead.

I would like to say, those dose reccomendations are based on my knowledge of TripppARs familiarity with codeine and a beginner should not take this advice as the doses I said would be too high for a beginner.

^ I think thats a better idea. Honestly, after you start mixing xanax with codeine it wont be the same on its own, so your weekly codeine sesh will become a weekly codeine+xanax sesh. Codeine is a weak as opiate, but it still is one, and there isn't a much more dangerous combo than benzos+opiates.

Just keep the alcohol to a minimum when combining with xanax, you can black out quickly. Keep it to one or two drinks and have a fat smoke session. Makes for a really nice, heavy and anxiety free stone.

It already doesnt lol.. but i still do it once a week for something different and it addds to the weed high. Good for watching movies or chillen or whatever really..

But ill only have 1 beer... perhaps a long neck probably not. Last time i even had 1 beer with a tamaz i didnt really like the SUPER hyped up grog effects lol.. all the negative ones as well. Like balance etc etc...

So the final tally is 1 beer then 1 xanax followed by im thinking now 300mg of codeine... probs 350
 
^ Yeah that's what I mean, but if you are at the latter stage of your codeine abuse where its barely hitting the spot you might be as well to add a benzo, if its the only way to even enjoy the shit. Although a tolerance break is the safer and smarter option. ;)

I would advise against the beer with a full xanax bar if a beer with one temaz fucked you so bad. A xanax brick is equivalent to 40mg temazepam and in Australia temazepam only comes in 10mg tablets. If you are going to drink anything at all, scale it back to half a stick of xanax.

Because of alcohol's mild CYP2D6 properties, and easier access to grog than xanax, I would reccomend half a stick (1mg) of xanax 30-40 mins before you dose your codeine washed down with one beer. Dose your codeine and antihistamine of choice and enjoy your buzz. :)

Actually on 700mg codeine + 120mg DXM + 2 whole bars. If u have no tolerance to benzos i insist u start with 300mg codeine (which i know u are on now;) ) plus half a bar (so u wont have to fight the sleepiness which can ruin ur opiate high as it will knock u out n wake up next day wondering what happened LOL and add 120mg DXM to potentiate it all. I usually take it all at once. Forget the booze and stay safe mate. U will have a blast especially when u guys smoke those cones;)
 
xanax and codiene imo is JUST FUCKIN DANDY!!
just know ur limits and start slow and low
im mixd oxy's and zanax but im a fuckin hopless benzo case.... it's always fun till u come down or run out... then u gotta watch the fuck out.. bad times have been had
 
What ever happened to the new codeine thread that was going to be made?

What sort of dose were you were you taking when you were using twice a day? I've been taking it twice a week and my tolerance has gone up way too much. I took a 2-3 month break and that didn't do much to lower it. Seems anything under 800mg produces a mild buzz so I have been taking 1g+ :\.

Dude even if u take 3g u still wont get decent effects as u reach a certain point 800mg i believe and u reach a threshold. Try adding 150mg of DXM to it and halve ur codeine intake and report back:) My tolerance is so high as well and it has helped alot

i'm pretty experienced with sleeping tablets and valium, but a whole bar of xanax will knock me the fuck out. I think take the xanax first to gage how you respond to it. A half or even a quarter bar if you are inexperienced. Its better to play it safe, as you can always up the dosage.

I would take about 10-15mg valium with about 150mg codeine (mild tolerance) and that was really enjoyable. I think just start with low doses combining the two just to gauge how you go, as the combo of opiates and benzos can be dangerous.

Be careful with using benzos regularly. I had a valium addiction sneak up on me very quickly, and getting off them once you are hooked is a drawn out and uncomfortable experience.

Yeah I understand that but there is a very noticable difference in effects between my 800mg dose and my 1100mg dose. Thanks for the tip though :).

No worries:)

It all comes down to how well u extract it. Dont forget when u have say for example 800mg worth of codeine there is no way in hell that u or anyone of us would extract exactly the same amount that we intend to. Its sort of a hit and miss thing and u always end up with a slightly less strength filtrate.

Yeah of course I understand, I usually type ~800 or roughly 800, just forgot this time :).
 
Ha ha.. well !

What a night... ended up having about 3 mates come around and we all had a little bit of xannie an booze + cones... were felling pretty good. Then one of my mates suggested that we hit the city... i was loose enough so i figured fuck it. As he was offering half price drinks at almost all bars + free entry.. he has worked fucking everywhere lol...

Anyways i ended up getting a trip for us each outta the cupboard and we dump those as well... plus we had some legit MDMA caps when we got to his house ha ha ha... then we hit the city from a suburb close by.

It was pretty loose.. we were trippin hard as (cherubs) in all these different clubs. Establishment at one point LOL .. my mate ended up getting booted cause he stole a bunch of money from the ATM when they stacked it with 50's instead of 20's but then he returned it.. he was very drunk at the time and is excitable. This happend like 2 weeks ago when he was employed there hahaha...

but yeh.. was loose as. Met some sweet people.. was hanging with thesemokin asians for ages as well but ended up ditching them for the dance floor as we were GONNNNNNNNNNNE.... regretable later. But eh.. all in all a wicked night.. i think the xanies helped keep my make chilled but mega fucked up as well.. we were enjoying a few bourbon and cokes thoughout the night.. we were easily the loosest cunts out haha
