Codeine Withdrawal and Loperamide

Can I use loperamide for codeine withdrawal. I’ve been addicted to codeine for about 4 years. I CWE around 4 packs of cocodamol a day. If I dose around 20mg of lope each night on days 1-3 will that just delay the codeine withdrawal?
Stay FAR away from Loperamide. The amounts you have to take to get an opioid effect are ungodly. And from experience, when I was taking it in those doses I was having serious cardiac arrhythmias and qt interval problems. Not to mention the worst hemorrhoids in my entire life. It's just not worth it. Even if I take the intended amount nowadays my heart starts skipping beats like crazy. Please do not use this drug for withdrawal. It simply is not worth it.

Try to get some Kratom if it's legal in your state. If not, then there are websites that can make it easy to get on bupe treatment for about 100 dollars a month for the online appointment and then use good Rx for cheap Subutex/Suboxone. Or better yet just go cold turkey if you can. Take a week off of work and just muscle through it. Stay safe and God bless.

Edit* if Kratom is illegal in your state PM me. I used to know of a guy who shipped to states that illegalized it because he believes in The plant and was willing to take the risk. That was 3 or 4 years ago but I guess it's still worth a try.

Tbh, you're best just doing a cold turkey from the codeine.

It may feel like hell, but it's nothing compared to what you will suffer if you progress onto stronger opiates...
There's a lot of Truth in this but it seems unnecessarily black or white. People just don't want to take the middle way. They want to speed in the slow lane or drag their ass in the fast lane
