codeine vs oxycontin

Ive been occationaly chewing 120mg oxycontin if i take more i start to feel like throwing up 8 hrs later.
anyways even after that dose i still feel the need to take my usual dose of codeine.

is it just me or does the half an hr after ya drink codeine 400mg feel better than oxycontin.

maybe if i took 120mg of instant release oxy id feel different but even though codeine is weaker & doesnt last as long i think its got a better feel to it.

i must like the morphine drugs better over the morphone ones.

also i like the taste of cwe u just need to add alot of water with what ya end up with.
i hate the taste of oxycontin. but that just might be the time release crap cuz endones tastes ok. (the 5mg instant release pils in australia)
 
Well I get sick and pukey on both of them no matter the dosage.
But I did prefer Codiene to Oxycodone, it felt much nicer, I only ever experience 5mins of euphoria with them both, but the codiene 120mg felt better than 20mg of oxycodone.

Plus it didn't last as long once the pukey hours came.
 
Oxy's make me very angry and irritable. Granted, the only time I took one was as a comedown aid on a 3 day amph binge, but theres something about that lovely pill that calls my name. Codine makes me want to sleep.

Theyre both ok in my book though.
 
120mg oxycodone is more than 400mg codeine. Take a look at the opiate conversion chart in my signature. 120mg oxycodone is about equal to about 1200mg codeine. Of course, metabolism issues need to be taken into account when figuring codeine dosages. However, given how large the margin is (1200mg vs. 400mg), I'd say it is safe to say that that 120mg oxycodone is more potent than 200mg codeine.

I feel that this thread will just turn into endless discussion about which is better, or how codeine affects certain people differently, because it does. Check out the BDD social thread if you want to discuss preferences regarding certain drugs over other certain drugs.
