Codeine & Vicodin

Hey Folks. I'm new to Bluelight. Been browsing here for a while, getting my drug questions answered and whatnot. But now I've got a question that I can't really find an answer for online. A friend of mine had hand surgery and saved some of his Vicodin. Theres also a little liquid Codeine (Iophen C NR) lying around his house. He was wondering if there was any point in having maybe 40 or 50mg of Codeine and a couple Vicodin while hanging around the house tomorrow.

I know that they're both Opiates, so I was thinking that they might go well together. There's 100mg of Guaif per 10mg of Codeine in the Iophen C NR, and the Vicodin pills are 5/500 (Vicodin/Acetaminophen) so He doesn't think there's any danger of overdosing on the other active ingredients.

Please share any experiences or outlooks, my friend would be glad to hear any suggestions.

Yeah, I have never had trouble with guaifenesin even in high doses. 400 or 500 mg guaifenesin is fine. I don't know your opiate tolerance, but you can combine them it just adds to the opiate high. Generally hydrocodone is 6 x stronger than codeine mg per mg, so 5 mg hydro = 30 mg codeine. If you have no opiate tolerance I'd suggest a dose equal to 90 mg codeine or 15 mg hydro.
