So it's been close to a year since I got off heroin and around 6 months since I stopped taking the suboxone. Since then I've taken suboxone twice just for kicks, with the last time being about 3 weeks. ago.

I used to have a good tolerance but now I'm not sure since it's been so long. And I can't even remember ever taking codeine. I want a strong high, but I don't want to die. I'm using the cold water extraction method and have 400mg worth. Do I even really need to worry about a codeine overdose? Does that even happen?.. or is it the acetominophen that causes it?

Codeine overdoses do happen, but considering your background with opiates, you'll have a nice time with 400mg, which I'm sure is even less considering actual yield with a cwe...about 6 tylenol 4s ain't anything to worry about for a heroin user 3 weeks is nothing...to be on the safe side look up codeine's ld50 and compare with how much you weigh

there is a thread right down the page that asks about the ceiling dose of codeine

http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/583323-Do-u-think-that-codeine-has-a-ceiling-dose

I'm going to close this now, the risk you take is definitely with the APAP if you don't do the extraction properly. So make sure you have a good CWE technique down before you start taking more and more codeine. Tolerance will build to codeine and eventually you won't get much from it anymore if you abuse it regularly.

If you have any problems with my closing of the thread or think that it should be reopened then shoot me a PM

Mugz :)
