Codeine Strength w/ & w/out APAP

Ok, say I had acquired a few 50mg Codeine tablets with nothing but codeine (and the fillers of course, but no other active ingredients). Compared to a Tylenol 4 (Theoretically lets say it had 50mg of codeine also), which would have the apap in it, would I feel a noticeable difference between the tab with the apap and the one without it? Would it hit harder and/or would it cause more side effects than the Tylenol tab?

No, APAP has no recreational value so if you eat a 50mg Codine pill its gonna feel the same as a pill with say 50mg codine/500mg APAP.

Wouldn't the amount of apap in the pill cause the absorbtion rate to slow because your stomach has to eat through the 500mgs of apap before you get all of the codeine?

Seems like the only 50 mg codeine tabs that I have ever seen are foreign extended release ones, so if you just swallow the pill w/o thoroughly crushing first, then there will be a noticeable difference b/t the T-4, which is immediete release.

I've had the the foreign codeine pills with no APAP called Codeisan. They contained 30mg of codeine, nothing else. They felt no different than Tylenol 3's (30mg/300mg APAP), it's nice because you can take more without doing a cold-water extraction.
