Codeine show up as heroin on drug test at a methadone clinic?

Hi,

I tried find a difinitive answer to this in the drug testing forum. I'm sure its there but what I gathered from it was that it depends on the test.

Anyways I am coming off Suboxen and am down to 2mg. I broke a molar and took a number of codeine pills to help with the pain. I am sure I will have a dirty sample tommorow and will probably lose a carry because of it, which is no biggy.

I goto a regular type methadone clinic in Ontario. Will the urine test simply show it as morphine? I read about how some tests differentiate between the two and some don't. In your experience does an average methadone clinic have a test which will show it as codeine or simply as morphine?

I aplogize for posting something which has probably been asked before. Thank you for your help and patience.

If its a 5 panel drug test codeine will show up as an opiate.

Yeah sorry I'm going to have to close this as we don't allow drug testing questions (that's why the drug testing subforum is closed to new posts). Whether it shows up just as "opiates" or specifically codeine depends on the type of test.
