Codeine Questions

Hello, I'm new here and I have some questions.

I've currently been taking Codeine Linctus for about two months now. I took my biggest dose tonight 120mg mixed with sprite (trying to replicate lean/purple drank).

About 5 minutes before I take the codeine I take 20mg promethazine (syrup form).

my questions are

1. What is the maximum dose of codeine you can take in a single dose before it does more damage than anything?

2. With my dose of 120mg codeine tonight I found I've been very itchy does this mean I should increase the promethazine dose as I increase the codeine dose to stop itching?

3. Two months ago I was taking 30mg codeine, then a few days later went up to 45mg, then 60mg, then 75mg, then 80mg, then 95mg, then the night before last I took 100mg codeine, didn't feel anything from it, apart from a little drowsiness about 2 hours after, tonight I took 120mg codeine and still don't feel anything? Is this too low a dose? How much can i increase the dose by?

4. I've heard codeine can slow breathing/heart rate - would it be dangerous to mix propranolol 40mg (beta blocker) with it as that slows heart rate to?

1/ i read in a scientific report than ~ 400mg maximum (or nearly , to be verify!) of codeine can be demethylated at once (in normal humans, maybe more efficience metabolism(or less) can be observed in another human)

2/ Mixing an Antihistaminique with codeine is a cleaver mix to supress itching and allergic reaction , but, in your case , you have doing a lot of times codeine and i think your body don't need promethazine to help your Codeine trip ! Anymore at 120Mg (a low dose for a habitual consumer, but can be strong for a newer tester !)

3/ "How much can i increase the dose by" you can increase by the amount you want seriously, it seems you tolerance grow up fastly, i advice you to wait more beetween each codeine trip If you wait a month or more, then you will have a great time with a ridiculous amount !!

4/ Codeine = MethylMorphine which is transfored into Morphine (~10% transformated), it have all the WD of an Opiate with less dangerosity but you still can have problems with this compound , i don't know Propranolol, i can't help you anymore, i only can recommend safety, by testing low dose of each compound

I was on another fourm and asking the same questions but got told I was stupid for asking because it's "common sense". How can one learn if one does not ask?

I think I will carry on with the promethazine just because the itching can be unbearable sometimes, like tonight with my 120mg dose.

Its so difficult to wait between doses, like more than a few days, because I want it so much... But I suppose the break will bring the tolerance down?
