codeine pills into powder

hi poeple. ive in the past had codeine effervesnt pills that seem to cause a buzz quite quickly. now that i have the codeine pills they take ages to feel anything? so would it speed the buzz up quiker if i crushed them pills up an mix it in a little water to drink down would it not get in the bloodstream more quicker that way?

I think it would get into bloodstream quicker if the pills were crushed and dissolved, because you don't have to wait for the stomach acid to break down the pill. Make sure you take it on an empty stomach. It will taste extremely bitter, so you may wish to mix it with a small amount of something sweet like lemonade
