Hello,

I'm new here, so please let me know if the following question somehow isn't kosher, or if I should broach the topic differently (or not at all).

I have with me a pack of Ibuprofen Plus Codeine (200mg ibuprofen and 12.8mg codeine per tablet).

These are for headaches. However, for personal reasons, I have decided to try to take advantage of the opiates.

I have 20 pills. Which amounts to 4000mg of ibuprofen and 256mg of codeine phosphate.

Is there any point in trying to extract the codeine? Would the opiate high even be noticeable at all?

Obviously I'm not about to pop 4000mg of ibuprofen. I value my internal organs. So if I can't separate the codeine from the ibuprofen, I'm just going to keep the pills and use them as intended (for headaches).

However, today has represented the culmination of a few weeks of crap which have built up and finally climaxed all over my face in a gushing spray of extreme depression-inducing instances of the universe taking a dump in my mouth. I won't go into the details, but while I feel like I've hit psychological rock-bottom (which I haven't), I just want to take a break. I would simply like a few moments of complete chemical relaxation, which I'm told opiates like codeine can provide.

Any tips most welcome. Please PM me if detailing chemical separation procedures is taboo. Thanks.

Just did a search and found the perfect procedure - simple, fast, and ostensibly effective.

Sorry for cluttering up the board with a question that's been asked a million times, but thanks for being helpful!

Cheers.

No problem there man,

It is very worth it, ibuprofen isn't as dangerous as APAP, for instance, but it can still cause damage at high doses.

As far as chemistry being taboo, it depends. We don't allow synth discussion but harm reduction discussion (CWE, for example) is exactly what Bluelight is here for. :)
