Codeine Linctus in the UK

Well I didn't know where to post this so I shall stick it in basic drug discussion.
I'm an opioid lover and have tried most of the ones available to us Britons but something that makes us enviable to the world is our OTC opioids, specifically codeine and dihydrocodeine. Yes, mostly they're adulterated with APAP and ibuprofen but there's one product we have that is pure, codeine linctus.

Our codeine linctus is 15mg/5ml and is available over-the-counter in very select pharmacies, usually restricted to 1 bottle at a time. But I managed to acquire a rather large quantity recently! Now please note I'm not trying to sell, solicit or source, I'm just showing what can be done here in the UK for virtually nothing if you know where to look.

What you are seeing here my friends, is 8 bottles of pure codeine linctus. 8 x 600mg of codeine, totalling at 4800mg of pure codeine phosphate. God I love living in the UK! I've stuck some photos up to drool over. Yeah, I know codeine is piss-weak but it's OTC!

Has anyone else had as much luck as me enjoying codeine linctus in the UK?

in other recent news.....

man has landed on the moon ladies and gents.

its quite popular, Dihydrocodeine is also available and other medications containing codeine in them. if you keep a steady dose and only do it on weekends, you will be able to nod and enjoy yourself without having withdrawals or minimal withdrawals.

Codeine is great because its cheap, works well if you have the body chemistry for it and is easily accesable, although sometimes I have to plan a route and determine which pharmacies I go to, so I can get the cheapest price and not raise to much suspicion.

It's fantastic! Although the government are cracking down on OTC opioids now. There's a bit of a panic on at the moment, estimates of 40,000 OTC opioid addicted brits.

Codeine Linctus is the only medicine in the U.K. available without prescription that contains pure codeine without ibuprofen or paracetamol combined with it (obviously the syrup has adjuvants to make it into a linctus but nothing harmful or that can't be consumed in high amounts, unless diabetic).

None of the other [P] meds come close, as they require a cold water extraction to be safely consumed in doses worthy of getting enjoyment from.

Addendum: Wow, 4 years later, sorry for the double post but I just realised four years of my life have gone by since I posted this thread and would you believe it, I bought 6 bottles of codeine linctus off the web via high-street UK chemists' websites this week and have them all in my substantial personal pharmacy.

So much for the crackdown you mentioned!

Out of interest do you go for sugared or sugar free? Although perhaps relatively benign, the amount of sucrose in the regular linctus is ridiculous and could lead to obesity and other problems in some individuals with heavy use. Think one bottle is like 8 Mars bars worth or something crazy!

Sugar free seems harder to get hold of I try to use sugared as a top up or for emergencies the thought of all that sugar makes me uneasy!

When I used to buy codeine linctus (also live in the UK) I always went for the sugar-free version.

Even if you only drink just half a bottle of the sugary version, you'll be diabetic before you know it!
