Opioids Codeine & Kratom

I have these painkillers with Codeine:

10mg Codeine phosphate
200mg ibuprofen
250mg Paracetamol

How can I make the most of these combined with Kratom, as they are, without CWE.

1. How many can I take safely taking in to account the other two chemicals
2. Would they be able to potentiate Kratom is some way?

I'm afraid that is such a poor codeine/paracetamol ratio that you are not able to get much anything off them. You could take max. 2g grams of paracetamol which yields 80 mgs of codeine. If you have a low tolerance and good enzymes, you might get a mini-buzz. Then again you would end up with 1.6g of ibuprofen which can be hard for you stomach. I think you have to CWE the pills if you want any recreational effects of them.

I don't think it's wise to mix large amounts of medicines (mainly paracetamol) with kratom, because the liver stress is not known. Would not take more than gram of paracetamol with kratom without knowing more.

The recommended dose of ibuprofen is 400mg per dose and under 1200mg per day but double this is the maximum under medical direction. Its also been stated that toxicity is unlikely at levels below 100mg/kg of body weight. This is a fairly huge amount though and I'm not sure if I believe this (it was stated on Wikipedia). Ibuprofen OD's are rarely lethal though. The max dose for paracetamol is 1000mg. This has been called into question though as it is borderline toxic. Paracetamol is the number one cause of calls to Poison Control Centers and the number one cause of liver failure. A 100% safe dose is considered 650mg. These levels continuously decrease if used multiple days in a row. As a recreational user though we do push the limits and as long as your young and somewhat healthy you can get away with quite a bit more. In no way do I recommend this though. The problem is Ibuprofen and Paracetamol are both liver intensive and therefore the maximum dose of each is probably lower. OD's are not usually immediately fatal though so if your using high doses of either just be extra vigilant in watching for any signs of OD or liver impairment (skin color changes, upset stomachs, etc. Look online). Mixing with Kratom is putting just that much more stress on the liver.

80mg codeine-wise as stated above is probably the absolute max you'd want to ingest and that'd be a one off thing with a few days break in between and preferable without the Kratom. I recommend just cold-water the shit and enjoy the fuck out of as much as you want

So i tried 2 doses of the painkillers above 45 minutes before (20mg codeine) plus 60mg DXM and then then Kratom and i am experiencing a far stronger effect then my usual Kratom + the DXM dose. I however slightly changed my tea making process.

Do you think there may be any reasonable relation between the codeine and increased effect based on medical or technical backing, or is it more likely a subjective experience or related to the tea process?
 
Hey, interesting thread - particularly to me as in early December I will possess several boxes of codeine phosphate 30s and a nice 50g bag of Malaysian Kratom. I've got some codeine experience up to about 550mg and loads of Kratom experience - my normal dose being 5-9g. BUT... when I have the two together, probably a bad idea to go for high doses of each innit!

So, has anyone got experience of mixing these two fine relaxants? If so, what did you find? What would you suggest a sensible dose on low tolerance to be?

No issues, as you saw i used the codeine to potentiate the kratom by taking a small amount (20mg) and it seemed to work very well, however i would hesitate in taking a large amount of both, that sounds risky
 
Yeah, it does. I'm a bit prone to taking more than I originally planned so I'll need a firm discipline hat on. I won't be using DXM so could probably up the codeine a little bit. I'm guessing 60mg codeine and 4g Kratom would be ok for me. Good note about the timings Blight - Codeine normally takes about an hour with me, Kratom only 20-30 mins, so well timed doses should give great onset effects.
