Codeine Extraction

that was the most disgusting thing ever!! haha i know im not in for much because of the low dose. But how long does it take to come on
 
^ Well I usually start feeling effects within ten, fifteen minutes which then increase steadily over the next half hour or so, plateau out for a while then slowly fade away.

Out of curiosity, what did you use to filter?
 
i used a old shirt. i didnt seem to lose much. im feeling slightly sedated but i admit it could jus be in my head because i dont know what to expect
 
^ Yeah, just relax and take it all in. Opioids can be subtle the first few times you use them, especially at lower doses. The doxylamine will definitely make you sedated though.

Whereabouts in Oz do you live, anyhow?
 
Castle Hill, Sydney wbu? Ill be trying this again. What is the best thing to buy with codeine? I can imagine this being good with weed. Any rules against that?
 
90mg is a pretty low dose, even with no tolerance, though even higher doses of codeine won't give some orgasmic, overwhelming euphoria, it's just a relaxed, warm, comfortable high.
 
^ I dunno, some people who have a surplus of CYP2D6 liver enzymes (possibly myself) sure can get their rocks off with codeine.

I live in sunny, tropical Brisbane. I like Sydney though, I visited there earlier this year and really liked being in the big city of Australia. :)

Anti-histamines are a must for some people with higher doses of codeine, due to the side-effects like itching and nausea. Dramamine (diphenhydramine) works, so does promethazine (quite well).

I don't smoke weed, can't stand it, but in terms of combining with opioids I've heard some conflicting accounts. A lot of harder opioid users don't like the combo as they feel it ruins the high, while others say you should smoke the weed after getting high on the opioid if you're going to do it.
 
ooo i have some antihistamines. containing 6mg of dexchloropheniramine maleate. can i use these for a high?
 
You've already had enough anti-histamines; doxylamine succinate is one of them. The two I mentioned are good for adding to opioids however.

You won't be able to get high off those anti-histamines you have, in fact if I remember right they aren't much fun at all in high doses.
 
Umm dexchlorpheniramine is quite useful in combo with opiates. My guess is the brand name is Polaramine.

Almost any 1st gen sedative antihistamine works alright with opiates, doxylamine inclusive. Diphenhydramine and Promethazine do however, seem to work best.
 
i can dose at around 480-600mgs of cwe codine ...now my question is that why is it that i dont get itchy or noddy just sorta relaxed and normal is it due to the fact of tolerance or the cyp whatever enzyme not being present in my body and how do i tell if i am deficent or not ?? cuz if i am i dont wanna keep wasting my money on nothing but a "psychological high"

Very true, I was more warning him off adding any more to the anti-histamines he had taken, since they are both anti-cholinergenics. CPM does work with opioids however, when I said he can't get 'high' off it I meant more by itself as a recreational substance. Unless you like deliriants.

Well not many people get nods off codeine in the first place. Did you used to get itchy and warm? If so, then yes you have a tolerance. You should take a break, perhaps around a month, then try again with a lower dose. Pushing doses ever higher to get the same effects is not a good path to go down.
 
Well, well, well. I have for a while suspected I was CYP2D6 deficient, as many attempts at CWE have netted zero results. However, recent experiences with DXM led me to question that assumption. I reacted to DXM like someone with CYP2D6, so why did CWE fail me, even with large doses?

I decided to try once more, using 45 tabs containing 10mg each. Allowing for 10% loss, this meant around 400mg of codeine, around the dose to saturate the enzyme. I did the CWE, and within 10 mins, I was getting itchy and my face was warm. Over the next ~2 hours, I experienced the full range of effects of a codeine buzz.

So what was different this time? Only one thing - about 2 hours before taking the codeine, I had taken a recommended medicinal dose of DXM cough medicine for a dry cough (yep, using cough medicine for it's intended purpose). I don't know why, but that 30mg of DXM seemed to make the world of difference when it came to the codeine.

I can't wait to test this more over the next few weeks. If it works consistently, I will be very pleased.

The question is though, why did it work?

Yellow paste?? You must be using tabsules. Get tablets next time. Much easier to work with.
 
Question/help: 5 panadeine forte tablets (extracted the codeine)

Hello.
I've extracted the codeine from 5 panadeine forte tablets. the dosage of each tablet is 500mg paracetamol and 30mg of codeine. I now have a liquid substance in a glass which to my gathering is 150mg of codeine. I have never tried using home substances to get high before, but I'm having a pretty bad night and thought I would just try it this once.

So just asking what would happen if I drink this 150mg of codeine?
