Codeine Extraction

lol yeh codeine tastes like dog balls. ive been trying out a number of methods but in the end the best way i think it to simply throw it down as soon as u can followed by fanta asap.

in terms of potentiaters and what not ive only tried grape fruit juice which i think made the buzz slightly better but could be put down to placebo. valium and xanax go along nicely with it. always been carefull not to drink tho as i worry bout the alcohol and paracetamol hitting my liver.

when and where u guys take codeine? i find the high subtle so when ive done it at work i dont get to enjoy the buzz cause im busy so best is just chilling out watching a movie or on a scat day. havent mixed while high on mdma tho is it good?

Want to get rid of the taste? Creaming soda. No, seriously. Works amazingly :|

the other night my girlfriend after doing a dose of about 300mg (which we do together once a week) got swollen puffy lips. its never happened to her before and her lips are fine now. was it out of the blue or has she developed like a reaction to the codeine or something?

It's just a histamine reaction - maybe it was just absorbed a little too quickly coz she had an empty stomach or something. It happened to me once and I always use an antihistamine about half an hour prior to codeine now.

some interesting stuf you would be lol

I'm about to perform a CWE for the first time, and I've just got a few questions that after a short search I can't find the answers to.

When performing a CWE why is it bad to use too much water? I keep reading "DONT USE TOO MUCH WATER" but why? I've read 2ml per pill, but at such a small dosage, it doesn't even cover the pills in the bottom of the glass... Also I just read that because N+ contains ibuprofen (not paracetamol) It requires more binder, which in turn soaks up more water. Does this mean I should use more than 2ml per pill for N+? Would increasing the amount of water to say 5ml, or 10ml be OK? A constructive answer would appreciated.

I'm trying a small dose to start with (64mg codeine) is this too much / too little for a first use? I've little to no experience with opiates and am a regular amphetamine user.

This has been answered a few times, but I'll tell you again. Codeine is very soluble in cold water, paracetamol not so much. So by using a small amount of water you can dissolve the codeine, and get as little paracetamol as possible. So by using cold water and doing it in the fridge, you get the best, safest result. 2-3 mls per tablet is plenty of water. 64mg is a very mild dose.

my general rule of thumb is enough water so it is just covering all the tablets. sometimes its not enough water and the water is absorbed and unfilterable so just add more water untill its a tiny but more liquidy

Yeah, as mentioned small amounts of water will contain less paracetamol.

I've personally found some of the guides on how much water to use a bit on the low side. Don't be afraid to add a little more so it covers the pills and isn't so sludgy. It depends a lot on what tablets you use.

ok this is the best CWE for ACC (OTC codeine in canada with 8mg codeine, 325mg aspirin, and 15mg caffeine). it removes most APAP like regular codeine extraction but also minimizes the caffeine so one can take doses up to 500 mg without feeling any stimulation. its from heroinhelper.com

crush desired number of pills
make a small square of filter paper that will fit in the end of a 10ml or larger oral syringe
pour powder into syringe (10 pills crushed fills a 10ml syringe about half way)
add several more ml of water and use plunger to slowly push water through the powder
collect extracted water and repeat as necessary

it works cause caffeine isnt soluble enough in water to have a large amount end up in the end product, but codeine is so soluble that an entire bottle of 200 pills worth (1.6 grams) will fit in a little less than 1 ml of water. trust me if you use large amounts of codeine through the usual CWE and get severe jitters from the large amount of caffeine try this method and you will eliminate almost all of the caffeine. with little tolerance 50 pills worth (roughly 400mg) will get you very stoned.

Aspirin isn't APAP, APAP is paracetamol, second what Mr Blonde said as well, thanks for the information though.

I use the syringe technique to extract morphine from MS Contin. Thank god we don't have caffeine added to our codeine tablets here in Australia.

That sounds terribly overboard. Your saying I can dissolve 1.6 grams of codeine in 1 ml of water? The lycaeum sais its 1g / 2.3 ml at 31C. So at least 3.68 ml of water for 1.6 grams of codeine. At the numbers you are stating the water would be more codeine than H2O.

Damn I missed that.

And that.

Also, remember that binders and fillers are water soluble as well which is going to mean that a little more water is going to be needed then the minimum for codeine.

Codine Extraction/Use Questions.

Hey guys, first off great forums, only just discovered them.

Ive recently discovered these forums and became very interested in the Codine Extraction thread. Just some simple questions.

I have never used an opiate before, and was wondering:

- How much codine i need to consume for an effect? (Eg: how many packets)
- Potential Health Risks?
- What form of codine to buy (N+ etc)
- How long it takes to take affect/how long it stays in affect

Thanks guys,

this seems like a fairly cheap and potentially fun thing try,

Lemme know,

Afty

Personally i've only tried it once, and ain't that experienced drug wise, but I do know a fair bit of biology, so i'll try n answer what I can.

How much codine i need to consume for an effect?
Depends on the individual. Something like 5% of people don't even have the liver enzyme to convert it to morphine. I'd say start off with something low like 100mg, or like 12 pills. Then once that's cool work your way up. I think the max dose is like 400mg, after that the converting enzymes are saturated.

What form of codine to buy?
Nurofen plus. They have the benefit of being easily splittable, minimising the amount of aspirin you take. Also if u screw up the extraction, i'd rather be shoving excessive amounts of aspirin down my throat then paracetamol.

Potential Health Risks?
Codeine overdose has the same effects as morphine overdose, namely respiratory depression. But much less risk then morphine.
If your extraction sucks you could get excessive amounts of aspirin or paracetamol into your system.
Paracetamol - a slow and painful death in a few days due to liver failure
Aspirin - stomach cramps/ulcers (not that bad, will heal in time), increased bleeding from any wounds you happen to make while on aspirin, if you have any underlying kidney probs also perhaps acute renal failure, and a few others i can't remember. Note that these health risks are if your extraction really sucks, if not your cool.

How long it takes to take affect/how long it stays in affect?
Not sure, i'm curious about this one too

Anyway, hope if helps. If I made any errors please correct or whateva.
Also from WA!

Another question Herbet, thanks for all the help so far.

Is the a fool proof exraction method i should try, some of the ones ive read (eg: cold and hot water) seem good, but slightly vague. One question would be how long does the codine take to dissolve, how hot or cold (method defined) does the water need to be? And whats the most effective way of drying the solution?

Thanks again,

Also do i litterally just eat it?

Thanks

For starters welcome to bluelight guys. Its a pretty cool community we have here. Generally there are alot of helpful users here.

From what I've read in the past I think that the codeine is soluable in a cold water solution. So if you try to desolve it in water thats room tempreture it should work ok. I think if just give the solution a good stir for about 30 seconds to a minute it should be fine. But then again I've never done it so I suggest you find out more info on this before trying it.
