Opioids Codeine/Effexor

So i need some real info.

I have to take codeine-acetaminophen daily for at least a few more weeks since i was in a knee surgery and i'm still in some pain. Also i was recently put on Effexor and i was wondering do these medication interact negatively with each other? There's nothing in the package info and my doc wasn't sure at all... She basically told me to see how it goes...

No negative interactions, if anything the codeine will help take the edge off the effexor which can cause anxiety in the first couple of weeks taking it
