codeine dose?

I dont know exactly if im allowed to ask this but what exactly is a good and safe starting dose for codeine? i got 5 generic tylenol 3 pills
300mgs of APAP and 30mg of codeine each

i have no experience with codeine and ive looked many places, some tell me something like 100mg of codeine and others say that 30-60mg is fine so im confused on the matter....
what exactly is the dose where you get a buzz?
 
probably around 100-120mg. Watch out for the APAP though. You may want to consider a CWE to get all that crap out. The liquid will taste awful but it will reduce the stress on your liver
 
do u have an opiate tolerance?

If you dont have a tolerance to opiates in general I would say start with 100-130 milligrams.
Also as the above poster said,cold water extraction would be better on your liver but you DONT have to considering the average LD/50 of acetiminophen is 5 grams,I think
 
i doubt i do, i used to do oxycodone like a year ago but stopped last year and ive had vicodin's a few months ago, idk how opiate tolerence works, never been much intrested in em, but i like the occasional buzz

since in total id have150mg, would it just be best to take them all since if i do 100-120 im left with like 1-2 of em without use
would it work if i popped 1 or 2 and smoked a few bowls?

I would take 90-100mlgs wait about 40 minutes.Smoke a little and see how you feel.

You can always add more but once its taken,its taken.Remember that.
Dose 100 and after that if you feel a need/want for more than do the rest.

Personally,I dislike codeine.
 
The amount you will need to get a buzz depends on two things: 1) your tolerance to opiates, and 2) what you consider to be a buzz. The ceiling for codeine is 400 mg. - I believe, so anything over that is wasted. No problems there since you only have a total of 150mg. My opinion would be to take for pain relief as directed.

hmm well does codeine work for migraines? like will it relive pain for them?
i ask cuz sometimes i get some baaaaaaaad migraines

once had one that took 800mg ibuprofin, 100mg propoxyphene, 2000mg of acetamenophin, and 15mg of hydrocodone to kill it....and it took all those drugs 2 and a half hours to kill it :| after that, i was fucking hiiiiiiiggggghhhhh
(didnt expect that part actually, especially since i didnt get any euphoria or nodding until after about 30min after pain went away)

i mean, i have em now, might as well either use em for a buzz and if not at least find some use in em medically
i know opiates can constrict pupils, how well does codeine do this? i know Oxy does it quite well, hydrocodone, for me, never really constricted my pupils
 
whats that. 1500mg apap and 150mg codeine?

do them all, 1500mg apap is fine on occasion it wont do any damage as long as your not doing that amount at once all the time, and 150mg codeine is still a fairly low-average dose.

well yeah, 1500mg of apap is nothing, i used to have to do 2000mg of apap to kill headaches so meh
 
if you aren`t allergic to codeine than take 150mg in a 30ml cwe solution. I find it being similar to 15-20mg of oxy`s but its varys person to person.
 
Was taking 12.5mg - 25mg hydrocodone daily this week, i have 150mg codeine right here and plan on taking it without a cwe. Will that do the trick? First time experience with Codeine.

Redosing with codeine is not a good idea. It inhibits the enzyme it needs to metabolize it into morphine, so taking more does not work very well in terms of increased euphoria. Histamine reaction and nausea may increase though.

It's best to take all at once. I would use 150mg, codeine is not very strong.
 
150mg will be a good hit if you've got no tolerance, anything under 2000mg of the apap will be ok.

Dont eat anything for a couple of hours before you do it, will give it a bit more uuumph.

Have plenty of water ready after you do it cos you will get that codine dry mouth thing.

The LD50 definitely isn't 5 grams.

250 mg of codeine is enough

150mg codeine is a small dose... even for a first time....
