Codeine dose/CWE.

I have some of those boring Tylenol-3 pills (30mg codeine/300mg APAP) and was wondering if, for someone with no opiate tolerance (or very low tolerance, I haven't used an opiate in over a year), if it'd be worth doing a CWE, or just taking a certain amount without an extraction?

Obviously my concern is the APAP, but how many would be suitable for someone with my low level of tolerance? If a dose doesn't exceed 2000mg APAP I guess a CWE isn't really necessary, right?
 
You should not consume more than 4g APAP in 24 hours, or 2g in one go - so if your dose is less than that then you don't need to do a CWE. However, I wouldn't really go consuming more than 1g on a regular basis..

Do you have any idea what dose of codeine you want?

I guess 15mg oxy and 20mg hydro get me pretty high/I can still function...so maybe like 160mg codeine?
 
That's probably in the ballpark; but the different derivatives are slightly different in effect / analgesia, so you may need more or less to suit your particular needs.
 
meh, you'll be lucky if you feel 160mg of codeine. 10mg of oxy will get me high as a kite, 300mg of codeine gets me a bit of euphoria for 15 minutes and then nothing lol.
 
Hm, I had a weird reaction when I took 180mg codeine/1800mg APAP. Because it less than ~2000MG, I decided against a CWE. About 45 minutes after taking the pills, I started sweating and felt nauseous. Stomach started making weird sounds too. This is uncommon for me on any opiate...felt high, but still a bit weird. Only other medication in my system is Prozac (20 mg, which I take daily). Did I take too much APAP?
 
I don't think symptoms of APAP overdose would appear anywhere nearly that quick, if I remember right they begin developing 12 to 24 hours after ingestion.

It's possible your just not used to codeine, which is known to cause nausea and also give people pretty bad histamine reactions (itching and what not)
