Opioids Codeine + DHC [Overcoming Theoretical Max Dosage]

My tolerance has long since exceeded the codeine threshold but my understanding is that DHC is active without needing to be metabolised.

So my current method is to take a mixture of both, around 600mg codeine and about 600mg DHC.

I take them together at the same time but I was thinking… my understanding is that DHC also metabolises via the same mechanism as codeine, therefore it might be stealing the enzymes needed to make the codeine active.

Would I be better to take the codeine first and then after a time take the DHC?

If so, how long should I wait before dosing the DHC.

By the way both are dissolved in water solution and taken orally, so no time is needed to be considered for the breakdown and absorption of pills.
 
If your concern is that DHC and codeine are competing for the same liver enzyme, and your tolerance has surpassed the ceiling dose of codeine (which is ~400 mg I thought), well, given that DHC is stronger than codeine and has no ceiling dose, why wouldn't you just take more DHC and shun the codeine altogether? Is there some reason you really have to take both instead of just taking, say, 900 mg DHC?

You’re question could be rephrased as why not just leave your wife and go full time with your side piece 😝

But yea, you understand my reasoning perfectly. I just want advice on whether to take them together not to leave 5, 10 or x mine between dosages.
 
I guess because they always felt the same to me I assumed that is how it was for everybody.

DHC isn't only metabolized by CYP4503A4, IIRC. But that is the enzyme subtypes needed to convert codeine to morphine. So if you take the codeine before the DHC you should be golden...as long as they aren't both leaving the stomach at the same time. So my guess would be take the codeine, wait 30 min, then take the DHC?
 
I'll elaborate. Stick a jelly laxative up your posteria you should empty your bowels in 15 mins normaly less .wash yourself in shower.beforehand crush up your dhc pills ,only if there ir pills not extended release pills [then def dont] if you have a high tolerance crush up 10x 30mg pills finely mix with a small amount of warm /hot but not to hot water around 20ml or so for ten pills or maybe less .use a baby's medicine syringe and squirt it up your anus ,your sphincter muscle will keep it in without leakage .you can subtly taste the dhc almost instantly .within 15mins your effect will be far superior than just swallowing and lasts longer .just harder to do at your work desk but not impossible if you nip to the toilet and are prepared .use lube .
 
Just on side note you say both are dissolved in water ,sounds like the new codine and paracetamol pills you get where you can't cwe.im unfamiliar with those sort of dhc pills .I take it they contain no paracetamol or ibuprofen, if so DO NOT try what I just explained,it would kill you.why do they dissolve in water ,do you find it hard to swallow small pills
