Codeine content (and other ingredients?) of Codeine Linctus

So I managed to get some Codeine Linctus from a pharmacy for the first time today :D

Only problem is, they made it for me right then and there, put it in a non-descript bottle, with a label that doesn't say what the codeine content is or what other ingredients are in it. Can anyone work out what the codeine content will be based on the suggested dosage? Would they put other ingredients in a bottle like this when it was made on the spot? Basically my tolerance is around 500mg codeine, so if I'm going to be swigging 2/3 the bottle, I just want to be sure there's nothing else in it. If I remember correctly the standard content of codeine linctus is 15mg/5ml, is this correct? Do some pharmacists deviate from this?

Nobody any ideas? I hate double posting but I really wanna drink this right now


EDIT: Swigged what I estimated to be 150ml, which is 450mg of codeine if my assumption is correct. Produced about the right effects for that dose so yeah looks like it's 15mg/5ml. Not had any other effects YET so doesn't look like there's any additives either.

Also, a side note for people in the UK: I've been looking for codeine linctus for ages, it's really hard to find as it's being phased out and replaced with pholcodine. The retail stores like Boots and Lloyds will almost definitely not stock it or prepare it for you; however, independent pharmacies will make it for you (or sell 'Care+ Codeine Linctus') if they don't think you're dodgy. Best bet is to say it's for your parent or grandparent and he doesn't want anything else. They may ask for a name and address to put on the bottle so have one ready (though there's no reason not to use your real parent/grandparent's name).

Okay I'm starting to think there was something else in it. The high lasted a bit more than 4 hours last night (doesn't normally last more than 2 anymore due to tolerance), then slowly tapered off. I wake up this morning and my pupils are pinned out still and I'm actually nodding pretty hard. Weird. Anyone any ideas what could be in it to extend it like this, or does codeine being in a linctus change the way it acts?
