Opioids codeine base and other derivatives.

so yesterday when i was bored i set about making codiene base from co-codamol (30mg/500mg) for the first time following the usual cwe procedure. on another forum a member mentioned using washing soda to turn the codiene solution into a base after evaporating so it would be more portable and smokeable. so i cooked up baking soda at 200'c for about 1 1/2 hours. i then added this to the codiene solution and left it in a porcelain dish overnight. today i looked at the dish and there is a tidy layer of crystals coating the bottom which i assume is the codeine base so was quite happy =D. so now i was wandering if this base can be changed into any stronger opioid using easy to obtain chemicals/compounds

i usually stay clear of opiates, but because codiene was so easy to get i thought i would try make some for myself, and would like to know more about what can be made from this stuff :?

Codeine is a good start for syntheses of very powerful opioids. However, you must have not read the rules of Bluelight. No synthesis discussion is permitted.
