Codeine and ulcer

I have found out yesterday that I have a stomach ulcer I was coin cwe On ac&c all last week and failed to realize asprin leads to ulcers! Did the cwe from ac&c give me the ulcer ? And is it safe to do a cwe On ac&c while On dexilant ?
 
i use tylenol 1 as it doesn't have asprin, and it has been fine for me, talk to ur doc and see if u can take tylenol instead of asprin so it doesn't complicate the ulcer.
 
Thank you very much and that's the thing I had bought the ac&c aldreaxy lol I got a bottle of 200 for fuck sakes I was already doing cwe and as I was doing that I came across the ulcer complication unfortunately but thanks anyway I'll go buy some t1
 
Don't buy T1s get the generic acetaminophen with codeine. Same price as AC&C (aspirin).

If you were doing a proper CWE and only for a week I think it unlikely that the aspirin was the sole cause of your ulcer. It likely didn't help though and APAP is definitely a better option for you. With the new CWE you'll find it takes a lot longer to filter as APAP is more water soluble than ASA.
 
I have no problem in the past with apap and I find it docent take as long as the Asa but that was with ratio-oxycontin but I have a clear solution of the Asa cwe if I use it while I got ulcer would I be in any danger ?
 
It's not a good idea if you already have a stomach ulcer to swallow aspirin. That being said if you only have 100ml of solution then that contains at most 300mg of dissolved ASA which is one pills worth. I'd say just wait until you get APAP to be safe though.
 
Alright :) thank you alot! I wish I would have known this before I got the ASA but oh well

The only reason I ask is because my skin feels like a sun burn when I touch it or especially when clothes touch it and when I do codeine I feel alot fickin better
 
I'd suggest going to your GP and actually getting your skin condition treated. You could always try some topical creams like aloe vera with lidocaine gel. Got some at shoppers drugmart last summer and it worked like a charm. Codeine can actually cause a histamine release which makes your skin much more swollen, itchy, and sensitive.

I always use ASA as opposed to APAP and have never had any problems. For most people liver toxicity is a greater risk than stomach and bleeding issues.

Are you sure that aspirin was the cause? I just ask because you said you did a CWE.

As I said it is unlikely it is the cause but if he has an ulcer stay away from ASA regardless.
 
I doubt aspirin caused it I have had this pain for a while I do cwe and if it looks foggy I'll re cwe it or just dump it n start over, Codiene just helps me get over this pain + it makes me feel good but if I can't use AC&C I might as well buy some weed or find someone with oxy's so I don't gotta worry about bleeding ulcers
 
The sun burn feeling is only from excessive codeine use and has been going away as I've been clean but fuck I love opiates n opioids codeine is a really easy thing to obtain for me n this sucks alot
