Codeine and Telfast

Just wondering if it's ok to use this anti histamine (Telfast) with codeine? only one available to me. 180 mg or 120 mg is what i have.

IIRC, Telfast is a non-sedative anti-histamine, so it's useless to take for boosting codeine.
I may be wrong, so wait for other interventions.

It won't boost the high, but it will take away the itches if taken half an hour before. Considering how intense and sometimes painful the codeine itchies can be that might be a good thing.

this combination seems safe in most people. Unless you are a genetic anomaly, you should be fine.

People sometimes complain taking away all of the itchies somehow lessens the codeine high, so sometimes a user might take the telfast with, or only just very slightly before the codeine so that they still get small amount of itching...

I like the codeine itches, they are so nice to scratch sometimes but they can get unbearable...

But if I had a choice between adding promethazine or scratching Imma choose the promethazine any day.

I had some DHC last night (210mg) and I've woken up this morning with what feels like a raging hangover, nausea headache etc. is that normal with DHC?
I've done codeine recreationally before with no problems, before last night, I had a week off and before that was doing doses off about 200mg quite comfortably.
I had a full stomach when I took the first 90mg but after an hour I felt nothing at all, so I took the rest.
I did feel a bit dodgy like I had maybe overdone it a bit and did it later than I usually would aswell (about 9-10 ish)

D'ya think I maybe just had a bit too much, or is this common with DHC..?

Headaches and fuckyness the next day from opiates isn't too uncommon IMO (specially if you take higher doses than usual), I normally get a headache which some ibuprofen and plenty of water/food solves. When high on opiates you often tend to not drink much water and become dehydrated.

Generally best to do opiates and most drugs on a empty stomach to achieve maximum effects and re dosing codeine/DHC is pretty pointless IMO.

Also taking into account you did more than you usually do...DHC being 1.5x stronger (there you are Evad ) you took a higher dose than what you did with codeine the week before.

Me? Really? Oh, cool. %)

Like the poster above me said, this is something you can get from any opioid when you have overdone it, I have gotten headaches at night or the next day from overdoing opioids. It sounds like you did too much, DHC is 1.5-2 times as potent as codeine, so you may have overshot your tolerance quite a bit.

Next time go a little lower and you should be OK, hope your day wasn't too bad with that headache. I usually try and hydrate myself and maybe take an ibuprofen like was suggested above, and it should be all good. :D

Oh right, well i wasnt really using it to potentiate, just to stop the histamine effects. What's the best for potentiation?

I find DHC gives me a headache too in higher doses.....maybe it is all the other crap in the Rikodeine I take like the sorbitol and the preservatives. Funny thing is M, H, Codeine or Oxy doesn't give me a headache the next day......even after higher doses.
