Codeine - 3rd & 4th times - best of times/worst of times

Every time I've taken Codeine (except the time I did over 400mg) I've felt great the rest of the day and slept better then I usually do.

Winterborn, have you taken codeine before? If this is how you felt afterwards perhaps your dose was to high or you were in the wrong state of mind?
 
Well codeine is good but only sometimes. Like for example when you haven't done any opiates for like a month and your craving some, 30mg calms you right away and makes you forget about that. Of course if your trying to stay off opiates that isn't good either. 60mg of codeine with some weed is A amazing and super relaxing...I don't really find codeine to be that good to get HIGH because usually it takes me 90mg-120mg to get any feelings like warmth and happiness and stuff by itself and even then it's not much so I just don't bother anymore. One time I had a cough syrup that was with codeine and an anti histamine and a small amount of that (a few table spoons) got me in a very very nice and wonderfull nod. It was a super narcotic nod very nice..The most other recent times I've gone for coughs I've gotten the same thing pretty much except that it also had guanefestin and it tasted like shit, unlike the previous one which tastes sweet. So I never even bothered I just took it like prescribed except once when I got lightly buzzed by the codeine but nothing much. Pure codeine is much better than the tylenol codeine.
 
Yeah sorry reading it again it seems a bit weird.

The reason I dont like it is because it is the only drug I have ever really craved. After I came out of hospital I was still taking it and it went from there. Which is weird, cos at first I was having nothing like 300.

I should have said ' For anyone planning on doing it, please be aware it can cause serious depression' (then again nearly all drugs can in different people).

Just a Q, did anyone hear use codiene to move on opiates like heroin or whatever?
 
codiene gives me stomach cramps, even at doses too low to get me high.

Everything will work out in the end. Codeine showed me this.

omg me too i had the worst stomach cramps i couldnt move for like 6 hours 8(
