Coons

In my early teens there was a kid in our class that had coon as his last name,. Now idk why it was so funny at the time, but myself and our friends circle refered to everything drug or alcohol related as "coons"

Before the age of cell phones you had to call your friends on a land line and to avoid our parents from shutting our plans down we used certain phases and words on the phone.

So I'd call t and in the middle of a normal conversation, I'd mention going to C21 later. He might say he needs to hang out with the coons too.

This meant "I'm sneaking out later"
His response " he can bring weed"

It was extremely stupid but it worked , if our parents ever over heard our conversations they just figured we were retarded. Lol
