Cocodamol - The drug of the credit crunch? plus other codeine/dihydrocodeine queries

The very first dabble I had with opiates was opium, many moons ago. Uber-bliss <3

Aye, it is a lovely as you'd imagine. It is a shame (or perhaps a blessing?) that its so bloody rare. It is definitely something you should try if you ever come across it. The smell is out of this world, so overpoweringly pungently poppery, with a cracking taste to boot. Effects are ney bad as well.

The Iranian community are your friends ;)
 
So I hear. The occasional lurking Turk can come in handy too sometimes I also hear. They even throw in a free kebab if you ask nice enough ;)

Was actually pretty cheap for such a rarity last year but there did seem to be loads about. £15/g or thereabouts from memory. Rough putty stuff would probably be even cheaper but this was the refined "bottle glass" stuff which is definitely worth letting somebody else do the work for.

There's your problem. Your technique was fine, your tolerance wasn't.

A substantial sabatical is on the cards in the not-too-distant future. Just as soon as I get one or two things out of the way, daily chewing of DHC will stop :D
 
Anyone know a decent alternative to Paramol that isn't a bitch to CWE? I spied boots dihydrocodeine & paracetamol underneath them behind the counter but it was after i'd paid.
 
Yeah, getting generic Co-Codamol is a piece of piss, but I went and asked for what i assumed was the generic equivilent of paramol, (co-dydamol) and they said it was prescription only.

Tried CWE of codeine loads, looking to try dihydrocodeine now, but the last time i used paramol the water was cloudy (I assume from soluble binders/coatings etc) so i'm looking for another source of dhc
 
Ahhhh right I forgot Paramol was DHC. Yea the cloudiness is likely to be the coating on them (that's the conclusion I've come to) and should do no harm ;)

Other than Paramol there's not really any other form you can get to be honest :\
You could get pure DHC tabs on the net quite easily if you've got a credily / debily card (can't give sources obviously, but they're out there ;) ) so that's an option.

The only other option, and the one that's likely the hardest, is to go see yer GP and say yer experiencing back / knee pain and that you've tried Paracetamol, Ibuprofen (seperately and together) and Diclofenac (and that this has given you stomach discomfort) which have all been ineffective, and the only slight relief you've recieved has been from using Paramol and that the pharmacist has said that if the problem persists then to go and see your GP.
This may work and they'll give you Co-Dydramol (10/500 - maybe even 30/500 if yer extremely lucky!) but ofcourse it depends on your GP.
 
You would be amazed at what your nan and grandad will have lying about! My gramps crys 100 dhc and gives them to me like he use to give me sweets!
In my garden I have about half an acre of papaver somniforum, buy the seeds from ebay, dirt cheat! Enough pods to smash you threw the floor for months!
I find its allways better to crush pills, they are metabolished so much faster!
 
Just about to start a CWE on paracetamol, codeine and caffeine capsules.
Was wondering if it works the same as usuall or can i not do it on capsule witht he caffeine?

It'll work, but you'll end up with caffeine in solution. You may find it detracts from the sedative aspects a little.

EDIT: Uuuurrrrghhhh. Beaten to it. Must be age.

Not sure if this has been asked already on this thread but is it not possible to o.d on cocodamol? or very rare anyway? the codeine I'd be fine with it's the other stuff in the tabs, I gotta say I dont know whats in them.
