Hey fellow crack smokers

Me and my wife indulge maybe once a year and we're rookies. I'm wondering how to tell what my drugs are cut with because some of the batches I've gotten seem very different.


Little to no euphoria, we're pretty sure we had one batch with meth in it due to the high temperature at which it burned (required a torch and the resin turned sticky dark brown and then black lasting a long time in the pipe), and I've even had a fentanyl scare due to a hit putting me on my ass exhausted.

From the looks of it some of you cook up your own. Looking for advice to remove impurities or at least tell what's in the stuff I'm smoking.

What could my crack be cut with that would leave a white residue that has a higher burning point? After hitting it it's still left behind in the bowl and burns away after leaving fire on it for a while

This is my first time posting I can post pictures if someone can instruct me whether that's against the rules or not

There is no way to answer this question without a lot more information. What are you smoking out of, what are you using for a filter, etc. Most people learn by experience and mistakes…this process is complicated and can’t be learned after a few times

A strait pipe, chore boy filter (burned off chemical coloring and pressed into a half inch puck inside pipe). By different I mean one rock in the 7 grams I had created a very dark brown resin that seemed to require more heat.

You are probably burning everything up. Sounds like there’s not enough air flow in the pipe and by applying direct, consistent heat you’re torching it to a burnt crisp. Never allow your flame to directly touch the rock, move it around while moving the pipe around. Start inhaling slowly and smoothly. People think keeping a direct hot flame while sucking in smoke is the way to get a bell ringer…it’s also ruining the process
