cocaine with schizophrenia

I am currently on anti psychotics for a dellusional episode, its not clear whether its longterm(schizophrenia) or not, I am doing everything I can to prevent it such as taking NAC and meditating.

One thing I want to continue is occasional cocaine use, I only need crumbs of the stuff to get a buzz and I would only use it about once or twice a year, my dellusional episode had nothing to do with cocaine use, apart from last year I have not touched narcotic drugs in years.

I am wondering how silly of an idea it would be, I was thinking of taking double the dose of anti psychotics along with cocaine.

Or should I stay away from it and perhaps stick to opiods.
 
I generally wouldnt recommend anyone to mix anti psychotics with stimilants other than to abort a terrible comedown as a last measure.

Regardless, youre going to see a huge decrease from.the effects of cocaine because of the anti psychotic. It would probably be nice if you listed the specific anti psychotic.

Honestly you probably won't even feel the cocaine.

Seconded.

If you do indeed have schizophrenia I recommend that you avoid stimulants (especially ones like cocaine) unless a doctor tells you otherwise.
 
Don't see any harm reduction in keeping open a thread about how to overpower ones medication and send them back to the doctor/ward.
 
Risperidone is a triple antagonist on the same receptors cocaine inhibits reuptake for, so the high will probably be killed almost entirely but It doesn't seem overly dangerous.
 
I use antipsychotics all the time to kill an Amphetamine high. Cocaine would be no different.

Antipsychotics work in exactly the opposite direction of Stimulants. Taking them together, would be a waste of both drugs. For me when I'm on a stim and I need to kill the high And/or stop all of its effects, I use an antipsychotic. It terminates a Stimulants effects almost immediately.

In regards to your psychotic symptoms. Never take a stimulant when you're psychotic. It will not make anything better, it will not give you a normal high, it will just exacerbate EVERYTHING. I've done it before - I ended up hospitalized for two weeks. Even if you don't think so, It's still quite possible the Cocaine could be causing your psychotic symptoms. You need to stop it all together; it will only make things worse.
