I know there has probably been 100s of threads like this but, I have just taken cocaine with alcohol and did not expect this much euphoria at all. I am used to taking cocaine on its own and I find it barely does anything. With alcohol however the effects are much more intense. I understand this is because a new drug is created in the liver. Does anyone else feel this why and find it very very average on its own?

I think it mostly has to due with the balance between the drugs, as well as the way that the two drugs offset some of the negative side effects that each drug produces on its own.

Cocaine causes anxiety; alcohol decreases anxiety
Alcohol can make you tired; cocaine keeps you up
Cocaine causes a jittery comedown; alcohol mellows it out

this definitely makes a lot of sense. I feel very anxious on cocaine but with the alcohol that was taken away completely.

Cocaine and alcohol creates coca ethylene when you imbibe both. Coca ethylene is more euphoric and also more addictive. It's so much better IMO, hence why coke is awesome party drug.

Yea, the first few times I used cocaine I was drunk, and man, were they ever fucking amazing. That euphoria, was so incredible. Then after 5 or so uses I began to get a bit of a come-down each time from blow, and then after a while most of the euphoric effects left. I think they do work in combo well with each other at first, but once tolerance developes, like any other stimulant, the pleasure leaves, and it just becomes an experience not worth it all together.

I know you won't listen to me though, because I myself, was on these very forums, making a thread similar to you when I first combined cocaine with alcohol about 2 years ago. That first euphoria, that makes everything in the world perfectly okay, and every breathe feel great, is amazing and unforgettable. Can't seem to get it anymore haha, but fuck, I sure as hell have tried.

i can't even remember the joy i used to get out of this. snorting blow tends to just make me super antsy and miserable these days. take very, very good care of how often, and in what quantities, you take it. it's a great drug up til you ruin it - easily done, and in my experience never recovered from. you'll comfortably end up blowing money and happiness out the window trying to find some kind of perk you vaguely remember but haven't hit in months, years even.

and it doesn't take much. i've probably - at least til i started really shooting it - but generally, i've probably done way less blow than a lot of people on this forum. but even after that point, a few years into mild use, i really, really noticed just how much it'd lost its shine. and it never comes back.

“I have absolutely no pleasure in the stimulants in which I sometimes so madly indulge. It has not been in the pursuit of pleasure that I have periled life and reputation and reason. It has been the desperate attempt to escape from torturing memories, from a sense of insupportable loneliness and a dread of some strange impending doom.”

― Edgar Allan Poe

The biggest misconception with addiction is that we do it in the end because it makes us feel good<3 We arent week or lame or anything else which constitutes any degradation.
