This first time I did cocaine I found out it had a very very low purity level. The next few months sometimes I mildly smelt a chemical strawberry type scent whenever I drank/smelt water. It even tastes a tiny bit funny. After about 3 months it went away. Anyways, 4 days ago I was given cocaine with a very high % purity and I actually felt a "high". Since the day after water smells extremely sweet/chemically/fake strawberry like and nothing else smells different just water. Is there something wrong with me> d could anyone provide some insight?

it very well could be psychosomatic from your past experiences with the coke having a strawberry taste. so your body associates cocaine with a strawberry drip. it's rather unusual.

The strawberry smell is not too bad but gives me paranoid thoughts like that there is bad things in the water. I also randomly smell cocaine when doing anything for about a second or two. I don't really crave coke (compared to opiates.) Anyways. thanks for the help guys!

i know what you mean, i once got swindled by some friends in a drunken bet to snort 2 double vodka's (it was an agony ill struggle to rival for the rest of my life), and the next day i noticed cigarettes tasted like polystyrene, and then everything tasted like polystyrene, im sure that in no small part effectivley burning the inside of my face off with 40% alcohol is responsible for this, and now whenever i drink vodka, everything tastes like polystyrene the next day......it's awful.
Marlboro reds sometimes make me taste heroin. I suspected schizophrenia was on the horizon for quite a while...

This is a very good point, also when your body is craving something specific it usually means you actually need the nutrients from the food in that craving. Unless it's "junk food".... if you're craving something good for you it's good to give into that.
After over a decade of coke use this never happened to me. I quit using, I am an addict, just clean from coke. I prefer opiates now anyways. Sometimes it takes a while for you to "feel right" after using high quality coke.... I overdosed and had a TIA... I didn't feel right for a few weeks after. Also OP it might have been cut with B12 which smells like strawberry to me and tastes like it as well.... That might explain it as well.

I notice the exact same thing. Whenever I have done cocaine in the past and I wash my face or drink water it has a funny smell to it. At first I had no clue this was brought on but I put two and two together and realized it was the coke. I have no idea why this happens but the cocaine could quite possibly be having an effect on our hundreds of different olfactory receptors in the nose.

I've always wondered about this myself, although it didn't start till I was a month off cocaine, but I'd get whiffs of strawberry kinda smells from quick breezes of wind or when I drank an odorless liquid.

when i use to do coke a lot of shit would smell funny.. particulary whats coming to mind is the the Mc doubles at Mc donalds smelled wierd as shit.. and i know what you mean by water smelling funny too.. does anything else smell a little bit off to you..? I always just thought it was me or because i always did so much
