Hey this is my first post here and i apolagise in advance if this threads in the wrong place! I use alot of forums so hoping it doesn't take me too long to figure out how this place works. I've found over the past year through google that this is the place with all the answers it seems.


So a friend recently started doing coke again and remembered something he always wondered about when he did it previously, he couldn't seem to find anything directly related to the question whilst browsing online.

He told me a friend of his that was in his 30s had to have all his front teeth removed due to the damage taking coke had caused him over some time.

*Apparently* this was due to the coke that absorbed in his nose has sunk down to his upper gums and caused the roots of his teeth to weaken..

Im not sure whether this is just one of those "did you know this happened *shock oh em gee*" kind of rumours or not so thought i'd sign up here and find out for SWIM.

It might be possible when you think about your sinus cavities. It's possible the coke was draining into is sinuses causing infection. My sinuses were frequently infected in the 80's when I was doing coke all the time. I've known many heavy crack smokers who lost front teeth. Keep in mind oral hygiene plays a role as well or some people have unfortunate soft teeth to begin with. Who knows, could be true or urban legend.

Its overkill a bit, if he is smoking crack this is bound to happen i lsot 2 teeththat way but from str8 coke up the nose he shouldnt have any problems. Sitll wouldnt hurt to cut down on the coke, as most of it nowadays is cut oto shit with other stims.

Cocaine can cause you to grind your teeth, avoid proper dental hygiene, cause dry mouth which stops your teeth from remineralizing, and if applied to the oral tissue will also reduce blood flow and irritate the gums somewhat.

So yeah, regular cocaine use can certainly lead to you losing teeth if you go too hard. Treat your body right, brush your teeth, and drink plenty of water. Also make sure to get enough daily calcium.
