cocaine purity only 5%, what the hell are people putting up their noses?

Just been informed the flake has re-emerged locally. Gram is costing £100 but the man is claiming 96% purity, lol

What purity do people reckon on average the pearly crystally flake selling for these prices in the UK is?
 
The coke i was buying a few months ago for 100 notes was really good stuff. I would be surprised if it was less than 60% coke. Small lines were really euphoric and it smelt really strong of coke. Washed up really well and the rock was proper shit, as good as it has ever been.

It was in slightly damp, off-white flaky lumps with a nice sparkle to it. The smell and taste was unmistakeable.
 
Hey guys just had a thought - what is the purity of crack? As i understand it crack cocaine made up of cocaine and baking soda. If there was some way to "uncrack" the stuff, perhaps there may be a (expensive!) possible source of (almost) pure cocaine.

Having said that, i think the street price of crack cocaine reflects on the purity of "cocaine" hydrochloride. A question i have is this: when "cooking" crack cocaine does anything from that batch of powder cocaine (i.e anything other than the cocaine alkaloid) end up bonded to the carbonate ion, resulting in something like crack caffiene/paracetamol etc etc mixed in with your crack cocaine. (LOL can you imagine paracetamol in crack form!)

Anyways... i dont like cocaine personally, i saw a video taken by a friend of me being an arrogant arsehole while i was high on coke, and that was last time i ever took it :P

Obviously, you guys could try and "wash" a gram of your street cocaine and see how much cocaine is actually in a "gram". I think you might need dry diethyl ether for that though, which is probably kinda hard to get a hold of.

It's very easy to "uncrack" your coke. It is just converting the freebase form back to it's HCL salt form. Doing this you would also get rid of SOME of the impurities but not all. You would need some non-polar solvent (preferably ether), reagant grade acetone and an equalmolar amount of 37% HCL (be effing careful) and the know how. If you look it up on the net you could easily find this info.
 
Had a couple lines of some £40 a g coke last night in the pub. First line it seemed alright but after another 2 it was blatantly lacking and has clogged my nose today :\ just glad I never bought any.

Seems like the £100 a g here has dried up before I got to purchase any. Dammit another drug to give up on for now.
 
Mate scored some £100 a g off a south african guy here midweek... complete crap! I took a line of the g and where i would usually become even more chatty than usual i completely shut up, made my mouth too numb aswell to be cocaine.

Friday night i went out and was lucky enough to be fed a couple small 100mg bombs of some lovely MDMA (i hadn't done any in months), a couple lines of real £70 a g cocaine which was class and then a few lines of decent speed before scooting to work on saturday morning haha!
 
There's some "super coke" going round here (Brighton) at the moment - £80/g. It's pretty good, to be fair. Not the best stuff I've ever done, but certainly the best I've had in this country for a few years.

I hope you work at either a porn shop, a night club, or a glo-stick factory. Otherwise, can't imagine you were very productive (mainly cause of the mdma). Haha, it would be awesome if you worked in produce at a grocery store.. those zucchini's are starting to look awfully sexy.
 
all this shit coke has completly quashed any possible coke addiction i may have had or may go on to aquire.

tried a bit recently and its even worse now than when i put this thread up,
was real dirty looking, was an off yellow colour but with black and red bits in it, real dirty looking, never seen nothing like it. fuck knows whats in it.

how the fuck people are still buying this shit and keeping these dealers in business is beyond me.
 
Still mainly shit gear around these parts going for the standard £40-50 price range. Luckily my 2 main dealers from my days of doing coke more than 4 times a year are now selling a 70s and 100s bit both of which are absolute rocket fuel (although personally I prefer the 70s bit, go figure). The case with most drugs round these parts nowdays seems to be both high and low quality being available and price being relative to this i.e you get what you pay for.

And end up paying more than twice what you were paying six or seven years ago for product which was either the same as today's 'high' grade or often better. :\

So two-tier markets become a depressing reality, and one in which both the people buying the shit and the people buying the overpriced 'premium' product are equally complicit in the creation and consolidation of.

When I first did coke it was a matter of pride as to how cheap you got it. Admittedly there wasn't a fraction of the repress market that there is nowadays, but that's beside the point.

Nowadays I hear people brag about how much they're paying without once questioning the fact that a product has risen exponentially in terms of cost to the consumer without anywhere near a proportionate increase in cost to the producers and importers.

Madness? You tell me.

Glad I never touch the shit these days...

When you put it like that samhain yeah it does sound pretty ridiculas but (in my area at least) it nice to finally have the choice of decent drugs again even if they are incredibly overpriced in many cases. 2008 and 09 were so dire round these parts all you could get was repressed to fuck charlie and pip pills which unltimatley made a lot of people give up drugs for a long whil (not a bad thing mind you)
 
Yeah, I suppose that without the shitty times people had to put up with then there'd be no way they'd take the price increases lying down.

It's just the way some people accept it without thinking that does my head in.

Drug markets were at least once competitive (like real capitalism would be) and now they're just blatantly a stitch-up by the dealers (like capitalism actually is in practice) with the consumer gladly accepting what they can because it's what's there. Which makes it sound kinda like, well... you get the picture.
 
In the late 80's going into the early 90's 50 pounds could buy me a well weighed out gram of good quality coke by todays standards, and for 60 pounds I could buy oyster sheen mother of pearl stuff which was exceptional.

Today, 100 pounds for what? lol.

Get my drift. :D
 
Inflation...£60 then was more than £100 is now in relativity to a weeks wages.

I disagree with what Sam's said, the £100 flake now anytime I've had it has been consistently top notch. Six years ago I knew one guy who got stuff nearly as good, but mostly the £50 stuff then wasn't half as pure as the £100 is now.
