cocaine purity only 5%, what the hell are people putting up their noses?

By the time it arrives in the US or Europe you're very lucky if it's even 90% then, more likely 80% at best. Very good quality coke, the best you'll get, will probably have around 65-70% actually cocaine in it.

As a side note, I always hear stories about kindly middle-aged witches selling mescaline and 2Cs from squats in Hackney, that sort of thing. To this day I've never run into one but I'm doing my best, I swear.
 
I hear so many people say they'd pay extra for good stuff, then when I see them offered high strength coke for twice the price they turn it down. So I'm guessing dealers are given em what they want, quarter strength at half the cost
 
^ Yup, this is definitely part of the problem - same with pills too, why people will go back to a dealer that sells them shitty drugs is just baffling... but they must, otherwise most of the dealers of shitty drugs would struggle to stay in business... supply and demand and all that.

But, a crucial Question: How many people here would go back to their dealer and kick up a fuss about some shit drugs they were sold? How many would ask for a refund? How many would actually buy the better quality stuff on offer? honestly?

Whilst ever drugs are illegal and unregulated there will be adulterants... but the more people demand.. and back that up with action, the better quality the drugs will be. I for one would only buy the best quality coke on offer, if only to make a statement that cut crap is pointless.
 
Why don't dealers just sell 0.5-0.6 of the good stuff for £40 instead? I know people would want a gram but the dealers should say it's purer and the rest would just be cut if i was to give you a gram.

Because the majority of dealers selling grams are not cutting the coke. The re-press stuff gets pressed into kilos at a time. The person selling grams for £30 is not the same person that is selling kilos. I knew a lot of folk who would regularly pick up a few ounces of coke at time, which when broken down would sell at £30/35 for 0.8 without being cut any more than it already was. This was the best coke that they could get their hands on. Dealers can't sell high quality coke if they can't buy high quality coke in the first place.

The image people have in their heads of all coke dealers sitting mixing ching with another random white powder before knocking out grams to their mates is a mile out.

Exactly - sometimes you only get the choice of buying cut to fuck coke, or going without... that's when it's hard for people to stand by a principle to only buy decent stuff - thus perpetuating the problem as demand still exists for the crap stuff.

This is indicative of limited competition further up the chain, or a limited supply vs. excessive demand. If only people would vote with their wallets it might improve overall quality.

Im glad ive given up drugs pretty much. completley gobsmacked at what people are calling Coke, is just absolute rubbish. complete waste of money, repressed rocks, whatever, its all bollox....

i agree. the best coke i ever had was around 1991-1992. i started taking it again about 4 years ago, it was an inferior product for sure but it served a purpose for me while ecstacy had gone rapidly downhill to virtual non existance. but in the 2 or 3 years i was using it again it just got worse and worse and worse to the point where i just gave up all drugs full stop. a good thing anyway im glad i pretty much have now, but i cant believe people are believing this shit. it is pure garbage
 
good coke is good, bad coke is bad, good coke costs lots of money,bad coke costs some money. the end.
