I had an experience recently that I've posted in another thread, but I feel is relevant and useful to share here: I've had my fair shar of experience with the white lady for many years. Recently however, I out of nowhere got a HORRENDOUS panic attack. I've occasionally had those before, panic disorder runs widely in my family, but this one had me convinced I was done. I took myself to the hospital, told them I had chest tightness, rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, and that "something was wrong with my heart". The triage nurses seemed fairly calm once I told them I had used cocaine. They gave me an EKG, and the doctor reviewed it and said my heartbeat was "high" but not dangerously so, and therefore did nott ae me back to a room right away. When they did, they put me on a heart monitor, oxygen finger thingy, and the doctor came in with a very non-worried attitude saying "Cocaine can mimic the signs of heart failure, its quite common to do so. However the incidence of ACTUAL heart failure is very rare. So we'll give you some Ativan and see how you do." 20 minutes after my shot, I felt fine and dandy. So all I'm saying is, coke can fuck with your body AND mind to make you think things are happening that really are not. Take a SMALL amount of benzos when you do some lines (i take .5 mg of clonazepam), dont go overboard, and dont let your mind get carried away. Of course, this doesnt mean dont be careful either. ; )
