Apart from the obvious, naff shit, what are other possibilities of coke not causing effects but anxiety?
If it has only been taken twice before, recent use of modafinil, alcohol comsumption?
About IIIIIIIII been taken a few times over the evening.

What dose? Stims often cause mostly negative effects in lower doses or shit quality product.

Additionally if you have anxiety issues already, like me, I always have to drink with a stim, else its to edgy. The euphoria is there but the edginess makes it not worth it without drinking.

I decent line oor prob a few and no positive effects and I would be be concerned about the product perhaps. There will always be some negative effects, possibly a lot, but the biggest indicator is negative effects without at least some positive.

I remember many times taking a decent line of coke and going out and it sucked, mostly no positive. I would need to do quite a bit of street quality coke with booze to make it worth it.

Not advice, dont drink with it, just my experience.
 
I really don't understand the hype about cocaine. Or Crack for that matter. I have tried both and the only feeling I get is a feeling like "Wait... Do I feel it? Hmm.. Lemme try a little more to make sure-" *Sniff "oh! I think I may feel it.. But idk ima try a little more" etc etc.
It's not like amphetamine where I know I feel the euphoria in my mind and body and plus amphetamines make you think alot more clearly producing a sense confident euphoria, so if I were you I'd stick to amphetamines (primarily d-amphetamine)
 
^^ Well thats exactly how I feel however i tend not to say it out loud as promoting meth is prob not harm reduction but the fact is that amps, or meth is far better then coke in every way. Its what coke users who dont know about meth, fantasize coke was like.

Of course thats effects, and with any improved effect there will be more risk. If you do coke, dont try meth. Ignorance is bliss.
 
Dose close to .4 , yeah I guess it could be when taken previously it was with good freinds not seen in a while, or just becuase a batch smells like coke and tastes like coke doesn't mean it is coke?
I agree anyway with the confusing hype
 
If you've taken 0.4g of cocaine and you're nothing but anxious, it's garbage cocaine. If it was any good you'd be off your face on half of that.

It's impossible to judge quality accurately from smell and taste, by the way.
 
This is true, .4 would be relatively good even if its below average quality shit street coke.
 
Not working would be one thing but causing anxiety and no good coke effects is another. Makes you wonder whats in there then.
 
Sounds like you got badly cut speed. Although with the effects you're describing - it sounds to me like you maybe just got powdered Ephedrine...

Although I agree with the title of thread in the long run of coke use, there are most definite EXTREMELY positive effects for ATLEAST (shit coke) half an hour, better coke - the effects have lasted longer.
 
I was going to say ephedrine but I quite enjoyed that when i was younger, it has its own form of euphoria. But I guess comparing those effects to coke, it can seem really shit in comparison depending on what your expecting. Additionally ephedrine has more value as a precursor then a cut i rekon.
 
As you all know methylphenidate and cocaine are ridiculously similar and effect the brain the same exact way. When I first tried Ritalin, I loved the hell out of it. It made me so euphoric and full of life, mostly taken orally, I at the time couldn't handle snorting due to its comedown and horrible side effects and 40min buzz. Years later I picked it up and my mind and body absolutely can not tolerate it. When I take ritalin now, 10yrs later, I get extremely dysphoric and it feels like a 3hr crash. Why, I don't know. I used to enjoy cocaine, now I can't even do a line without obsessing when this short lived buzz will wear off and I can snort another one, it leaves me worrying, anxiety ritten. Unlike amphetamines I'm anxiety free until it wears off...I must of fried my pleasure chemicals to enjoy Ritalin or cocaine,I think excessive Ritalin damaged my cocaine high

Cocaine does nothing for me except make me really angry and agitated, probably cos its bashed with all sorts but iv no time for it or the headaches that come with it.. id rather do without.
 
I'm also in the camp of not enjoying cocaine, no matter how pure it is; I can't stand the effects - nothing like being a sketchy, paranoid, angry, over-confident, sweaty, egocentric mess to make you want to flush drugs.
 
Oh yeah, people have been forgetting to mention a couple things. If the coke doesn't numb the shit out of your throat - it's not coke.

Cocaine is a sodium channel blocker and will numb any exposed flesh. Just take a pinch out of the bag, and stick it on your tongue. If it numbs your mouth - it's cocaine (or lidocaine... but that's beside the point...)
 
Cocaine should be numbing indeed, but it shouldn't be so potent that it makes your whole face numb - and it takes a little while to develop. That's a sign of it being cut with more potent anesthetics (lidocaine).

Exactly. Many dealers put numbing agents like lidocaine in their coke to convince people it's real, but if you know what you're talking about, you can tell the difference between the artificial type numbing caused by a cut, and the natural moderate but concentrated numbing from good coke.
 
Yeah the first coke I tried was very good stuff, and I got the effects of euphoria, but don't know if that was brought out by the few cans of cider and that it was a reunion with some great friends. Later on I experienced very enhanced senses for a short time, but went to sleep that morning.
This stuff was probably just shit, too. Don't know if cokes for me just I am prescribed Modafinil, and have recently been considering whether to restart on Sertraline, so with that I have to accept MDMA a thing of the past for now.
